Create with Connie and Mary #233

Hi Everyone,

Here is this week's sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary

2012 Create Thursday-013

I was so inspired by Melissa's gorgeous card in the DT samples that I wanted to CASE it, and will at some stage when I receive some of those new products from the Seasonal catalogue when I can place another order.  In the meantime I've made a card using Sale-a-bration items as a sneak peek, namely the Sycamore Street Designer Paper and the co-ordinating buttons.  Here is my card

As you can see, I've turned the sketch sideways.  The base of my card is Summer Starfruit with a layer of Rich Razzleberry which has been embossed with the Manhattan Flower Embossing folder.  My top banner is Pool Party which was stamped with the Greeting from Itty Bitty Banners (words inked with a marker), before being embossed with Square Lattice Embossing folder.  I've stuck the buttons with glue dots onto circles of co-ordinating card punched with the 3/4" circle punch and layered onto the top of the patterned paper strips and finished with a Butterfly (of course), using the Beautiful Wings embosslits die layering 2 together with a rhinestone strip centre.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look and leave me a comment.  I really appreciate receiving them.
