Create with Connie and Mary 241

Hello Everyone,

There's a lovely sketch at Create with Connie and Mary this week which I'm playing along with.

Actually a demo friend mentioned to me how similar this week's sketch was to the one I've just done at the Paper Craft Crew challenge.  So I've decided I would turn this sketch and make a portrait sample, just so they look quite different.

I've used an Embossed Resist technique on the background of my glossy white card, stamping the Coral from the set By the Tide and embossing it with Pool Party Embossing Powder.  I've inked over the card with Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy ink and also stamped the Anchor from the same set, the greeting and the Anchor from The Open Seaset in Not Quite Navy ink.  The later was cut out and is dangling from a boat (use your imagination) above.  The Seahorse have been stamped with Calypso Coral and I would have liked to have cut them out to make a more realistic ocean scene, however I punched them as squares to fit with the sketch, and substituted a Bottle cap for one of the squares.

Once again my card is a little unorthodox (my children say weird).  They say there is a fine line between genius and madness, or as we say in Australia (she's lost the plot or she's a sandwich short of a picnic).  You chose a metaphor.
