Make a Wish with Washi Tape

Hello Everyone,

I'm back again with another card using some retiring bits.  I have the Rev up the Fun Stamp set and Washi tape on this card, combined with a Sentiment from Perfect Pennants.  Here is a closer look at the card.

I've also stamped with Gorgeous Grunge stamps onto the background.  The cardstock is Very Vanilla and Smoky Slate.

I've used the Label framelits for cutting our and layering the sentiment here and I've also cut out and raised the car from Rev up the Fun stamp set on Foam dots.

Its another male birthday coming up in the family and I love how this card turned out.  I hope you like it too.  Have a great day.

A Happy Birthday Vintage style

Hello Everyone,

How has your weekend been?  Its been a pretty cold one here, especially today.  It got quite windy outside.  I've lived in a jumper all day.  Perfect weather to be indoors cardmaking.  That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Here is today's card using a base of Crumb Cake and using some retiring patterned paper from the Soho Subway pack.

The cardstock is Crumb Cake, Soft Sky and Crisp Cantaloupe.  I've rounded the corners on the bottom edge of the card as you will see in the pic below and I've embossed the Crisp Cantaloupe layer with the Mosaic embossing folder.

The sentiment was stamped with the Vintage set called Well Scripted and cut out with the Deco Label Framelits and it was finished with a little butterfly cut from the Beautiful Wings die.

Thanks so much for calling in to see today's card.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Patchwork Heart Card

Hello Everyone,

A short post today because I'm running late, sorry.  Today's card is a little different.  Its a heart shaped card and I'm using some of the Afternoon Picnic patchwork patterned paper on it.  Come and have a look.

I've used the Hearts collection framelits to cut this card out from Coastal Cabana and Very Vanilla cardstock and I've used a greeting from a retired set on the front of this card "Love you Much" from the set Well Scripted.   Next I want to show you the inside of this card.

The sentiment on the inside is from the stamp set Loving Thoughts.  Makes this a perfect card for an engagement, Wedding or particularly an Anniversary.  I have some friends in mind for this one.

And finally, the full view of the finished card.  Please excuse my hand, its the only way I could photograph this well enough was to hold it up.

Have a great weekend.

Work of Art Thank You

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to thank you for popping in each day to see what I've been making, so today's card is actually a Thank you card using the Work of Art stamp set.  I have my new product launch tomorrow and I've been busy making samples to showcase the new products and colours that I have.  This is another one using predominantly Tangello Twist.

But I've also used inks of Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow which are all new In Colours.

The cardstock is Tangello Twist and Very Vanilla and some Papillon Potpourri butterflies were added.  It's a fun card.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Warmest Wishes Paint Chip Card

Hello Everyone,

Its been an extremely busy week for me with all the travel due to my daughter's Work experience at Myer.  Can't wait to slow down a little this weekend.  And it will only be a little because I have a class and new catalogue launch on Saturday morning which I'm also trying to prep for right now.

I want to show a quick card I've made in the meantime with the Blooming with Kindness stamp set and another paint chip.  Love the paint chips, instant colour teamed with Black and White for a super quick card.

Have a closer look here.

The stamping is all done in Stazon Black ink and the reversed scallop border is an offcut from using the Adorning Accent edgelits, which is pretty cool that you can use what is considered waste in this way.

Thanks so much for calling in to see today's card.  Have a great day.

Rich Razzleberry Happy Watercolor

Hello Everyone,

Its been another long day for Happy Tuesday, but nevermind I did get my card done early, although my post is late.  I did get to go shopping today, I did take my daughter to her Work Experience again at Myer and I did watch a movie - Maleficent, it was fantastic.  I love a fairtale with a twist and a Happy ending.

Here's todays card.  I got to colour this image with the Blendabilities markers in Rich Razzleberry.  Have a closer look.

This is my first play with the blendabilities and the only colour set I have to date.  Hopefully more will be on the way soon.  The cardstock used is Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White and Basic Black and the background was stamped with the Wood Panel background stamp in Basic Gray ink onto the Whisper White card.  The Black panel was embossed with the Woodgrain texture embossing folder.  The full card is pictured below.

The floral image was cut out with the Apothecary Accent framelits set.

Thanks very much for calling in today.  Hope you have a Happy Tuesday too.

Hello Everyone,

Its Monday and another start to a new week.  It's quite a busy week for me this week, so I actually completed the card I'm going to show you yesterday.

The cardstock is Lost Lagoon, Whisper White and Basic Gray.  I've added a little Island Indigo ribbon to the dressform cut with the framelit from Basic Gray card and stamped with inks Soft Sky, Island Indigo, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Black Stazon.  The stamps used are from Works of Art and Everything Eleanor sets.  I rounded alternate corners on this card too.

I'm quite happy with how this turned out with the combination of colours.  Hope you have a great day.

Another Works of Art card in Blackberry Bliss

Hello People,

How is your weekend going?  It's Sunday night here and I am a little late finishing my post.  I was a little late finishing my card.  Thats why.  I was actually making 2 at once because I have a busy day tomorrow with my eldest daughter starting work experience a good 40 minutes away from us.  I will have several long trips a day to take her down and back to work this week.

Onto my card.  This one was inspired by the work of good demo friend Tina Parsons.  Here is my take on her design.

The base of my card is Blackberry Bliss which I've teamed with Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry card.  I've used the stamp sets Everything Eleanor (swirl) and Works of Art for this card with inks of Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Island Indigo and Black Stazon.

Here's the full view of the card.

I love the combination of the colours on this card and hope you do to.  Have a wonderful Sunday.

Feel Good Works of Art

Hello Everyone,

How is your weekend shaping up?  Saturday arvo here and I've completed two simple cards today combining the Feel Goods and Works of Art Stamp sets.  Come and have a look.

Here is the first one using the sentiment "The Best Things"

I've gone for a monochromatic look here stamping across the card with Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Lost Lagoon Inks.  The Papillon Potpourri butterfly is stamped in Bermuda Bay Ink.  The card is Coastal Cabana, Bermunda Bay and Whisper White with the sentiment stamped in Black Stazon ink.

Here is a closer look.  You can see here the bit of bling I've added with some Basic Rhinestones.

I've also used a Basic black punched butterfly as a shadow for a layered look here.

Next I have an  abstract design using "Those who bring Sunshine".   I hope you get what the yellow in the corner is meant to depict.  My girls did not like it at all.  The cardstock on this one is Coastal Cabana, Hello Honey and Whisper White, with ink Pool Party, Hello Honey and Black Stazon.

Here is a closeup for you.   I added a little butterfly from the Beautiful Wings die here and once again, I've added just a little bling to finish the card.

Finally, I took a photo of both cards together.

Have a great Saturday.

The cardstock used is Smoky Slate, Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon with the patterned paper from the Moonlight designer paper stack.  The full picture of the finished card follows.

The greeting used here comes from the Stamp Set Sweet Essentials.  Speaking of sweet things, I spent some time backing today.  The fruits of my efforts are shown below.  These are rich Chocolate Cup cakes with Chocolate Ganache icing.  Yum, one is almost too rich.

Thanks very much for calling in today.  Hope you have yourselves a fabulous Friday too.

Rev up the fun Moonlight Gatefold Card

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to make another of those Gatefold cards, that I should you the other day, but this time I'm working with a square base and some patterned paper from the Moonlight designer paper stack.  I've decided to stamp with the retiring set Rev up the fun and make a motorbike card, something suitable for a male.  I'm using the Deco Label Framelits to frame my stamped image.  Come and have a look.

The cardstock used is Smoky Slate, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Whisper White.  I've embossed the Hello Honey Label with the Fancy Fan embossing folder and I've stamped the background of the white label with a stamp from Works of Art set.  The measurement for this card is 28 cm x 14 cm.  Each side is scored at 7cm from either end and folded in to the centre.

I've also finished off the card with some Candy dots from the neutrals pack.  They look a little more masculine from this pack and these are the Smoky Slate colour.

Thanks very much for calling in today.  Have a great day.

Yay - I got my 5 year Pin from Stampin' Up! today

Hi Everyone,

I received a nice surprise in the mail today - Happy Tuesday.  Something good always seems to happen on a Tuesday without fail.  Not to mention its also the morning I go for a walk with my friend Sharon which leads us to a different coffee shop each week to finish our walk with coffee and a sweet treat.  My 5 year pin arrived in the mail, just before we went for our walk.  I've added a photo to the bottom on this post for you to see.  I also made a card to celebrate.  I think I will send this one to the Stampin Up office to say thanks.

Basically its a Thank you Flip Card which I've cut using the Circle Card thinlits and I've stamped with Works of Art Stamp set, added some Moonlight patterned paper from the stack and some Papillon Potpourri Butterflies.  Because its a flip card, I've photographed the sides.   Here is the front.

The cardstock used is Smoky Slate, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White and Blackberry Bliss.

This is the inside below.

This is the back, the complete reverse of this side of the card.

The photo below is my pin that came in the mail.

Thanks so much for calling in today.  Have a Happy Tuesday.
