Paper Craft Crew 273 - Holiday Inspiration

Image
Hi Everyone, Welcome to this week's Inspiration Challenge at the Paper Craft Crew .  This will also be my last challenge as part of the Design Team and we are running it over 2 weeks.  Here are the details. I looked at the baubles from the inspiration picture and thought about the baubles on the Christmas tree, so I made a card using the Christmas Staircase thinlits and the matching Stamp set for my card.  The Wood background in the picture is reflected in the Woodgrain paper that I've used for the staircase. The cardstock I've used is Tranquil Tide, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Red Glimmer and Champagne foil. Thanks for joining us at the Paper Craft Crew for our 2 week Holiday Inspiration challenge.  We wish you a very Happy Christmas and hope you enjoy the festive season with your family.  I too am looking forward to the break. Have a lovely day. Carolyn xx

Hi everyone, Welcome back to our Stamp Ink Paper challenge.  This week we have a colour challenge for you.  The colours are Red, Green & Gold.  Doesn't that just scream Traditional Christmas to you?  It does to me. I've used cardstock of Real Red, Whisper White, Garden Green, Gold foil and Red Glimmer paper for my card. The Holly embossing folder has been used on the Gold foil background.  I think the result is stunning. I've used the Christmas Staircase bundle for my card. Thank you for joining us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper .  We can't wait to see your creation with these colours. Have a great day, Carolyn xx

Paper Craft Crew Challenge 271 - Let it Snow

Image
Hi Everyone, Welcome to our Sketch challenge this week at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here is our sketch. I'm playing with some Year of Cheer specialty dsp combined with Merry Little Labels stamps for this card with the matching punch. The Label punch fits nicely on the Lots of Tags framelits which I used to cut out the Copper foil. I am loving the look of the Copper Foil combined with the Night of Navy.  I think it looks so elegant especially with that dsp. Thank you for joining us this week at the Paper Craft Crew .  We look forward to seeing your take on this weeks sketch. Have a great day, Carolyn xx

Hi Everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper !  Let it Snow Here's my card for the challenge using Hearts Come Home stamps and matching framelits Hometown Greetings and Seasonal Layers thinlits.  The cardstock is Whisper White and Shimmery White along with some Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper for the snowflakes & border. The background was created but sponging with inks of Powder Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Berry Burst onto the Shimmery White card and then spritzed with water. I love how this turned out for the Let it Snow challenge and the colours were a change from the usual frosty colours I'd normally go for with this theme.  Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.   We can't wait to see what you create for our theme. Have a great day, Carolyn xx
