Stamp, Ink, Paper #84 - Sunburst Lift Me Up Birthday

Image
Hi Everyone,

Welcome to this week's Tic Tac Toe challenge by LeAnne at Stamp, Ink Paper.

I'm using the line  on the bottom horizontal Die Cut, Yellow, Ribbon.

These are new framelits I've just received that I'm using here, namely Sunburst, Stitched Shapes and Up & Away with the coordinating Stamp set Lift Me Up.  The yellow paper is from last years Botanicals dsp pack which I've put over cardstock of Soft Sky.  Here's a closer look.

The sentiment and balloon have been stamped with Island Indigo Ink and I've added some Island Indigo ribbon from my stash to finish off this card.

Thank you so much for joining us.  We look forward to seeing your creation for this week's Tic-Tac-Toe challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper.

Enjoy your day.

Paper Craft Crew 228 - Beautiful Branches Birthday

Image
Hello everyone,

Welcome to our challenge this week at the Paper Craft Crew.  This week we have a colour challenge for you.

Here's my card using the Beautiful Branches framelits set combined with the Delicate Doilies embossing folder.  You need to use at least 3 of the 4 colours shown, and I've managed to use all four of them on this card.  The base and flower stem is Basic Grey, the embossed background and ribbon is Blushing Bride.  The butterflies (from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set) and under layer of the flowers are Cherry Cobbler and the top of my flower is Perfect Plum along with the greeting stamped with the Butterfly Basics stamp set.

Here's a closeup of the flower.  I added some of the tiny pearls to the flower centres.

Here's a closer look at the greeting along the base of the card.

Thank you for popping in to see my card and thanks so much for joining us this week at the
Paper Craft Crew.  We can't wait to see what you create.  Have a great day.

Paper Craft Crew 227 - Hey Chick Sale-a-bration Card

Image
Hi Everyone,

Welcome back to the Paper Craft Crewchallenge.  This week we have a sketch for you as below.

I've used a Sale-a-bration set for this card which I've just received for free with my order.

The Hen has been stamped onto a tag made with the Scallop Topper tag punch and has been coloured with Watercolour pencils and blender pens.  The cardstock I've used is Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Basic Black and Hello Honey.  I'ved used a Pumpkin pie brad from my stash and my punches to create the circle embellishment and I've used the Woodgrain embossing folder to create the texture on my Soft Suede background.  Here's a closer look.

Thanks so much for joining us this week.  We hope you play along with our sketch.  See you at the Paper Craft Crew.

Have a great day.

Stamp, Ink, Paper #82 - Masculine Moon Lake Birthday card

Image
Hi Everyone,

Welcome to our challenge this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  We have a theme for you - Natural elements.

I've decided to go for a masculine card this week as I find this theme works well for men.  I'm in need of some male cards at the moment and this is a no frills, no fuss kinda card with texture.  Here's my card using the Moon Lake vintage stamp set.

The cardstock is Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and Whisper White.  The ink is Basic Black and Soft Suede (for the wood panel).  The greeting comes from the Guys Greetings stamp set.  Here's a closeup below of the main image.

Not only does the wood panel and the image provide the natural elements for the card but also the Burlap ribbon.  I love the texture that it adds.

Thanks for joining us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  Have a great day.

Hot Air Balloon Male Birthday Cards

Hi everyone,

I hope you've had a great weekend.  Mine has been extremely busy, and as its also been extremely hot, its been nice to stay indoors and spend some time working on my cards in air conditioning.  I had an order to supply some Birthday cards and have currently been working on some male ones as I didn't have many left in my stash.

Here's a couple that I made using up some products from my stash (pre Stampin Up).  It's nice to use some of these things again and makes me feel less guilty about what I spend on new products.  Here's the first one.

I find cutting out very relaxing, and there is quite a bit of cutting involved when doing 3d work for layering up. Both cards are similar, using the same 3d sheet.  I split the images between both cards, so that they aren't as high and that makes keeping them a little less bulky for posting.  I did use some SU card, ink and greetings on these cards.  Here's the second one.  This once also makes use of the Woo…

Welcome to this week's challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  This week we are "Bringing back Birthdays" so please add your Birthday Cards to the theme challenge this week.  Mine is below using the Dragonfly Dreams framelits.

My cardstock is Whisper White, Dapper Denim and Silver Foil.  I've used the Work of Art Stamps and vintage set Well Scripted for the Birthday greeting and also some Washi Tape from my stash.

Here's a closer look at the Dragonfly.  You can see the colour under the wings of the recessed Silver Dragonfly diecut.

Looking forward to you joining us for this challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  The Gallery is going to be amazing.  Have a great day. :)

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year and welcome back for the Paper Craft Crew challenge.  This week we have a sketch for you below.  I am hoping many people enter because I can't wait to see what you create with this one.  The team have made some amazing cards for your inspiration.

I've decided to use the Dragonfly Dreams bundle for my card and I've teamed it with the Fancy Frost specialty embossed papers.  My cardstock is Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White and Island Indigo with a little Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer card.  Inks used to colour the Fancy Frost diagonal background were Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo and the inks used with the Work of Art Start for a border were Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, Dapper Denim & Soft Sky.

Here's a closeup. I've used some older assorted washi tape in the blue colourings under the greeting to tie in with the sketch this week and my Happy Birthday comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set.

Bees, Bees, Bees

Image
Hi Everyone,

Happy 2017 everyone.  This is my first post of the New Year.

I finally got to play with some new goodies and I love the new Dragonfly dreams bundle.  On this card I chose to use the Bees from the bundle, especially for a friend.  We have to look after our bees.   I'm more partial to Dragonflies, but they can wait, thanks to Jimmy.  This card is for him.

The cardstock I've used is Bermuda Bay, Whisper White and Basic Black.  Inks are Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Emerald Envy & Basic Black.  I've also used an older stamp set on this card called Work of Art.

I hope you like mhy card today and thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day.
