Maraya's Eyeshadow Birthday Card

Image
Hi everyone, Here's a recent card I made for one of my daughter's friends, to go with the gift below that we gave her.  I love how this turned out and not only how easy they are but also how great & appropriate they are for teenagers. I've used a variety of cardstocks and glimmer papers for the Eye shadow pans and I've used patterned paper from the Painted with Love specialty dsp. Here is a picture of the Eye shadow palette gift that I modelled the card on . Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have a great day.

Jason's Birthday Card

Image
Hi everyone, I have a quick card to share today which I made for my Brother in Law who had a birthday during the week. I love not only the simplicity, but also the lighthouse image which goes so well on the Serene Scenery Sky paper. The cardstock used is Night of Navy and Whisper white (for the stamped image).   The lighthouse comes from the stamp set called High Tide.  I've also used the Happy Birthday thinlits for the Birthday sentiment. Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have a great weekend.

Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's Stamp Ink Paper challenge.  This week we have colours for you to create with. Here's my card created as an easel style using cardstock of Powder Pink, Night of Navy, Mint Macaron and Champagne Foil for both the Butterfly die and the Celebrate greeting.  If you think my card looks familiar you would be right.  I had already posted it however we had problems with the Stamp Ink Paper blog and the challenge didn't go live at Challenge 160, so here we are with our colour challenge 163. The patterned paper is from the Garden Impressions Paper stack. I've taken photos from different angles to show you how it sits. Here's a closer look at the Butterfly from the Springtime Impressions thinlits and the Celebrate you dies. Thanks so much for stopping by today to see our challenge at Stamp Ink Paper .  We would love to see your creations with our colours so I hope to see you there too. Have a g

Christmas in July Cardmaking

Image
Hi everyone, Today I'm posting some cards from my display and class I held last week for Christmas in July.  This was and always is our first class of the year dedicated to creating Christmas cards. Here's a pic of my display These were the cards we actually made on the day, 3 square cards of a similar design using retired Christmas papers. And then we made 3 flip cards, again using up retired papers.  These are a little harder to photograph properly to show the detail. We also had some delicious Christmas treats to eat.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  We really enjoyed our Christmas card making and I hope you enjoyed seeing our creations.  Have a great day.

Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's "Christmas in July" challenge at Stamp Ink Paper. Here's my card using Santa's Sleigh Framelits and the retired Label Card thinlits to easily create the flip design. This is the first Christmas Card I've made this year and July is a perfect time for me to start.  I'm in Australia and this is our Winter.  Its a perfect time to spend indoors creating. I always take the opportunity to use Christmas in July as a theme for a Christmas card class with my ladies to start making our Christmas cards for the year and this year is no exception.  I've used cardstock of Whisper White, Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist, Marina Mist, Silver foil and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer for my card.  I took the opportunity to use more retired product from my stash for my first Christmas card of the year. The picture above shows the front flip of the card and this picture shows the reverse side (back).
