Greetings of the Season Snowflake

Image
Hello everyone, Happy Tuesday to you.  Today I've used up some leftover bits and some of last years specialty paper that's been lying on my desk forever on my card.  It feels good to use up some bits and pieces. This card uses the waste vellum which is the negative of one of the snowflakes from the Watercolour Winter Card kit.  I'm using a retired stamp as well and some foil printed specialty paper with cardstock of Smoky Slate, Coastal Cabana and Whisper White. I've also used the Circle collection and Chalk Talk framelits on my card and also one of the new Snowflake charms from the All is Calm range in the Holiday catalogue.  The diecut bow under the ribbon comes from the Wonderous Wreath framelits set.     Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Hope you have a Happy Tuesday.

Be you(tiful)

Hello Everyone, Today I have another one of my fav butterflies featured on a card combined a number of stamp sets.  Here I've combined Papillon Potpourri butterflies with Kinda Eclectic.  The greeting comes from the set called Flower Patch.  Come have a closer look. The cardstock is Wisteria Wonder, Basic Black, Whisper White and a little Gold Glimmer trim that was waste leftover from my Watercolour Winter card kit.  I've stamped onto the Black card with Whisper White Ink with images from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. Here is the card. Thanks so much for stopping by today to see what I've made.  I hope you will leave a little blog love for me while you're visiting.

Vivid Vases Birthday

Hello Everyone, Today I'm sharing another Vivid Vases card I've made coloured with Blendabilities as well as sponging the background for a slightly different look.  Come and have a look. The cardstock I've used is Coastal Cabana, Whisper White and Blackberry Bliss.  I've framed the image with the Oval and Deco Label framelits and I've used the Lacy Brocade embossing folder on the background.  Here's the full view of the card. I've sat my vases on a shelf in this card. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  Will see you tomorrow.

Kinda Eclectic Butterfly Card

Image
Hello Everyone, I've had a busy day for the start of the weekend here, with a class first up this morning.  We were making Christmas cards today, and as I've been making quite a few, I felt the need for a change up with today's card.  I wanted some butterflies today....lol.  You know how I feel about butterflies. These layered butterflies have been stamped on vellum with Baked Brown Sugar ink and heat set with Irridescent embossing powder.  Come and have a look. The design of this card was inspired by the work of Shanna Gaff.  I changed some of the colours.  The abstract Sun and butterflies come from the stamp set Kinda Eclectic and the sentiment "Just Because" comes from a set called "A Dozen Thoughts".  My base card is Sahara Sand, with a layer of Whisper White card, and of course, Velum for the Butterflies.  The gold glimmer strips are actually the past product of the sheet from my Watercolour Winter Simply Sent kit.  The Inks used here are

Noel Star Card

Image
Hello Everyone, We've had a busy day today.  We had to make a trip to Mooloolaba and thought while we were down that way, and its school holidays the girls and I went to Kawana Shopping world.  We haven't visited that shopping centre since its expansion.  I did made a great find, a shop with handmade chocolates.  I will show you what I bought after I show you today's card. Here is another quick Christmas card to share with you that I finished today using Star and Word framelits. The cardstock used was Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Perfect Plum and Silver Glimmer.  Come and have a look. The Noel used on the card is cut from Blackberry Bliss cardstock and was cut out with the Wonderous Wreath framelits.  I used the star punch for the tiny stars on the card and I've used the Fancy Fan embossing folder on the Perfect Plum background. Here's the full view of my finished card. These are colours I really like playing with although I know they aren'

Watercolour Winter Simply Sent Card Kit

Image
Hello Everyone, I've been playing with the Watercolour Winter kit thats available to buy in our current Holiday Catalogue.  These kits have materials and envelopes for a total of 20 cards, but I've been playing with some of the elements and added a little extra card and I think I can get at least 30 cards out of these kits.  Here's a sample of what I've created below.  These are the first two cards. So I added some Real Red Cardstock to the kit, Silver Glimmer and the Snow Flurry embossing folder here, plus I cut some labels out with the Apothecary Accent framlits.  The greeting on the Red card on the right is from the Wonderous Wreath stamp set and the blow is cut from the matching framelits to that set. I've also added a piece of Pool Party card here embossed with the Snow Flurry die and added an Glimmer star and extra Frosty sequins.  I've used the Tiny retired ornament punch on the card above.  These 2 cards above are very similar to th

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #111

Image
Hello Everyone, Welcome to the Wednesday Card Sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew .  Here is our sketch below. I've decided to use Santa Stache and make a Christmas Card combined with the Trim the Tree paper stack.  I changed the sketch slightly by making my card a square shape. I've added some Cherry Cobbler ribbon from last year and Frosted Sequins to embellish the card and the Mustache die to cut out an extra one and layer it up on dimentionals. We hope you will join in with our sketch challenge this week.  Come to the Paper Craft Crew and check out was our designers have made this week.  We hope to see you there.

Heart of Christmas with Festival of Trees

Image
Hello Everyone, Happy Tuesday.  I'm up to my eyeballs in Christmas Goodies for Christmas card creating and preparation for classes at the moment.  I have another card here to show you where I've combined some new products with a stamp from last year which is now retired called Heart of Christmas.  Come and have a closer look. The cardstock I've used is Early Espresso, Very Vanilla and Mossy Meadow.  The patterned paper comes from the paper stack called Trim the Tree and the Trees are from the new photopolymer stamp set called Festival of Trees.  The Inks are Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow. I've also used the Woodgrain Embossing folder on the Early Espresso panel behind the greeting and trees for this woodland coloured card.  Here it is finished below. I'm happy with how this card's turned out.  Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a Happy Tuesday too.

Butterfly Love

Image
Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.  If there's one thing I love in this world, well there's many things actually, if you list off Shoes, Music, family, etc...well you get my drift, but I love Butterflies. It's been a couple of days, well more than a couple actually, since a butterfly card and I was having withdrawals.  I had to make a card with a butterfly today. Come and have a look at the butterfly on this one.  It comes from the stamp set called Kinda Eclectic. The patterned paper used on this card is long since retired that I can't even remember the name of it but the cardstock used here is Basic Gray, Very Vanilla and Blackberry Bliss.  The word Love, is cut with the Expression Thinlits.  Here is the full picture of the card below. Thanks so much for stopping by today to see my card.  Have a great day.

A Whole lot of Wonderful

Image
Hello Everyone, How is your weekend going?  We had company here this weekend.  That always happens on the weekends Neil's off work.  Everyone wants to catch up with him.  The good thing is when he and his mates go to the shed, I can concentrate on my cards. The card I have today is another one I've used the Vivid Vases single stamp on, coloured with Blendabilities.  I've used these colours before and its very similar except that I've rotated the card and made is a Portrait rather than a Landscape.  Here's the coloured image. I've combined it with cardstock of Midnight Muse and Whisper white, plus paper from the Print Poetry stack.  The Whisper White background was embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder and the images were cut and mat with the Décor Label Framelits. Here is my finished card. See you next time.  Have a great day.

Santa Stache Easel Card

Image
Hello Everyone, I have another Christmas card to share with you today.  This time its an Easel Card made with the other image from the Santa Stache set and its the soldier from the Nutcracker.  Come and have a look. I've stamped the image and cut it out and mat it with the Deco Label framelits and also used the Mustache framelit.  The image has been coloured with Blendabilities.  The patterned paper is from the stack called Trim the Tree and the cardstock used is Pacific Point, Real Red and Whisper White. I've taken a side view pic of the card to show you how the Easel sits. And the front view of the whole card. Its another very cute image.  I love this set.  Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Santa Stache

Hello Everyone, I've been doing some more colouring with the Blendabilities lately and decided to try them out on a new set I have called Santa Stache combined with Moustache die and Deco Label Framelits.  The cardstock used is Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Real Red and the patterned paper is from last years Christmas stack called Season of Style.  Here is the full view of the card below. The sentiment on my card comes from the stamp set called Wonderous Wreath stamp set and has been cut out with a framelit from the Apothecary Accent set.  This is a really cute happy Santa.  Love this set. Thanks for calling in today to view my card.  Have a lovely day.

Wisteria Star Card

Image
Hello Everyone, Today I'm sharing another rather quick Christmas card I've made with the Bright & Beautiful stamp set which I've been using quite a bit lately teemed with the matching Star framelits.  Come and have a look. The cardstock is Wisteria wonder, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White and Silver Glimmer.  I've coloured the centre rhinestone with our Blendabilities Razzleberry marker before adhering.  The full view of the card is below. The Noel cut from the silver glimmer paper comes from the Wonderous Wreath framelits.  Isn't it cool.  This was a very easy card with some nice bling and would be a good one to replicate if you had lots of cards to make. Thanks very much for calling in today.  I hope to hear from you soon.

Welcome Baby Girl

Image
Hello Everyone, Its Happy Tuesday once again, and I have happy news to share.  Friends who I know through Badminton had their Baby Girl arrive on the weekend named Aveline (isn't that a pretty name).  I've made one of my special Star Easel cards to celebrate.  Come and have a look. I've used the Bright and Beautiful stamp set here (which is actually in the Christmas catalogue) along with Celebrate Baby for this Pink and White card.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Blushing Bride and the inks are Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo.  I've taken a side view to show you how this card sits. This card is actually a shaped Star Easel Card which sits on top of the white base card.  I have written a personal message on the underneath side of the base.  The next photo is the full front view of the card.  I am pretty happy with how this card's turned out.  It's going to be quite different to other Baby cards they receive and I also love the versatility
