PCCCSC174 - Merry Christmas

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Music Teacher Farewell // Paper Players #173 Shaped Card Challenge

Hello Everyone, It's a sad week for my daughter and her friends who have really enjoyed what the music program offered them at the High School this year.  Their very talented teacher will be moving on to a new school and they're having a little party for their last day of the Vocal ensemble practice which was an extra activity that he undertook with the students, as well as teaching them to play all sorts of instruments in lesson times. His speciality though, Guitar!  I have decided to enter this card into the Paper Players Shaped Card Challenge this week.  While not specifically made for the challenge, I think it's a pretty cool shape and fits the criteria.  I also think more people deserve to see this card. When asked to make a card for the group to give him, with that in mind I found some inspiration on Pinterest and came up with this card. Just Add Ink 184 - Just Add Bows

Hi Everyone, How are we this Friday?  I'm good, been to the Dentist this morning for my regular check.  The good news is today was relatively painless, the bad news is I have to go back for some fillings.  Yuck! There's a great challenge at Just Add Ink this week brought to us by Trish to Just Add Bows.  The paper variety are so popular at the moment so that's what I'm making today. I've used my Extra Large oval punch with some of the gorgeous Winter Frost Designer Series Paper pack.  This is one of the foil sheets from the pack for my bow.  I've kept this card simple and elegant making a square card, so that it looks like a gift. Here is a closeup of that bow. I've used Bermuda Bay and Whisper White cardstock today with the Winter Frost paper pack.  I really like the colour combinations in these papers.  You can pack these cards quite quickly and they look so effective.
