Mocha/Soft Suede Christmas Double Easel Card

Hi All, after going global with other Demonstrators all over the world, and posting a pic of this card I've had a number of requests to share the instructions.  I thought this might be the easiest way to show all the photos inside and out.   The base of the card is made from a square, cut from Soft Suede Card 15 cm x 15 cm - note my instructions are in metric, but hopefully it will still make sense. 




The first pic shows the card standing, the second shows the card flattened out, the third pic shows the inside, where it is scored from the centre of the card at 7.5 cm out to either side of the fold, and the last pic shows the card folded closed for posting.  Luckily this was an extra card I'd kept from last Christmas, so I was able to find it again for instruction purposes.  Cut two extra squares from Soft Suede card which are 7.5cm x 7.5cm to be decorated and adhered to the triangular fronts.  The Card has been decorated with the Mocha Morning Specialty Dsp from our catty and I also added the Decorative Label punch, for the greeting and the Stocking Tag punch from last year's promo.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
