Hello Everyone, As there are many new products on the horizon, and available to you from 2nd July, I will be showing a few of them over the coming weeks. Here is a card I made last night using some new co-ordinating products, including stamps, punch and embossing folder and some new In Colours. And here is a closer look. The cardstock used is Crisp Cantaloupe and Whisper White.  My inks used were Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe and Blushing Bride. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Hi Everyone, I received my pre-order on Friday afternoon and have played a little over the weekend. Here is a card I've made using all of the new In Colours available in our next Catalogue which starts on 2nd July. Added to each panel I've stamped and punched a matching butterfly from Papillon Potpourri set with Elegant Butterfly punch from Whisper White card.  It's my favourite butterfly in that set.  The sentiment is from the set Loving Thoughts. Ok, the colours of the panels from top to bottom are Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding.  These panels are mat onto Whisper White card which is on a base of  Baked Brown Sugar.  "Dream" was also stamped in this colour. I thought this was an effective and pretty way to show off the new In Colours for 2013-2015 and I hope you've enjoyed the Sneek Peak. Hello Everyone, After my success last week with an Honorable Mention in the Fabric Challenge (thanks JAI girls) I was keen to join in again with their Sketch.  However I think it's a lot trickier to come up with something for this sketch design at Just Add Ink .   Go and check out the samples from the Design Team for some Inspiration. Here is what I came up with using Pleasant Poppies and Loving Thoughts stamps. See what I mean, coming up with something to resemble that diamond shape, I decided to make a window cutout in my card with the Apothecary Accent long framelit.  Well it has a point, at either end.  Once I made that decision, then the rest of the card fell into place. My Cardstock is Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White (on Inside) and Vellum.  After I'd cut out the window I stamped with Stazon Ink onto the Vellum with the Pleasant Poppies background stamp.  I coloured the back of the image with Markers, Riding Hood R...

Hi Everyone, This week there is a sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary  which I was keen to join in with.  As my pre-order is still in transit and I still have so many retiring sets that I love, I wanted to ink some up once again before I bid them farewell.  On my card I have used Elements of Style and Aviary sets with some Retired Designer Series paper from a pack called Nursery Nest. Here is my card based on the sketch below. My cardstock is Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White and Perfect Plum.  Here is a closer look at that birdy in the cage. I've also added some retired Pear Pizzazz pleated ribbon, which I still have quite a bit of, so I'm glad this colour is returning to our collection.  It was a green that I really liked and an inkpad that I didn't have to re-order. Hello Everyone, How are you this fine Wednesday?  Another Wednesday means it's time once again for another challenge with the Paper Craft Crew . Here is my card This week I'm using up some of the Sale-a-bration Dsp on my card along with some layered diecuts using Apothecary Accent and Hearts a Flutter framelits.  My layered Butterfly is from the set called Papillon Potpourri and is punched with the matching Elegant Butterfly punch.  My cardstock is Island Indigo, Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Whisper white with some Silver Glimmer for good measure.  The bottom two thirds of my Pool Party layer has been embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder. Hi Everyone, This week at there is a challenge to "Just Add Fabric" to your project at Just Add Ink . I've used some Stampin Up dies to cut my fabric, some was adhered to card and some is just cut and layered on my co-ordinating card and Fabric purse here. I've used the Blossom Party die to create the layered flowers on both the card above and the Fabric purse.  Yes, the purse is also fabric, but in this instance I've adhered the fabric to cardstock before putting it through the Bigshot using the Petite Purse die.  I've used Glimmer Brads through the centre of both flowers. I've used the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder on some Very Vanilla cardstock (which didn't show up particularly well in the first photo) with a Soft Suede base for my card, but really, it's very simple and it's all about showing off the flower.  As a co-ordinated gift, I think they work well together.  The chocolate is for perspective and does actually fit n...
