Create with Connie and Mary Sketch Challenge 255
Hi Everyone,
This week there is a sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary which I was keen to join in with.
As my pre-order is still in transit and I still have so many retiring sets that I love, I wanted to ink some up once again before I bid them farewell. On my card I have used Elements of Style and Aviary sets with some Retired Designer Series paper from a pack called Nursery Nest.
Here is my card based on the sketch below.
My cardstock is Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White and Perfect Plum. Here is a closer look at that birdy in the cage.
I've also added some retired Pear Pizzazz pleated ribbon, which I still have quite a bit of, so I'm glad this colour is returning to our collection. It was a green that I really liked and an inkpad that I didn't have to re-order.
I love the sketch for this week's challenge shown here.
I imagine that I will probably use this sketch again, as it's quite versatile as you will see from the other entries in the Gallery.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great day. We have a 3 day weekend here and my big brown box has now arrived this afternoon,
yippee!! That will give me plenty to do this weekend.
Cheers,
