Blackberry & Plum Stars

Image
Hello Everyone, Yes, its true, I'm seeing stars again....lol.  I love this Bright & Beautiful Stamp set combined with the Star framelits and Lucky Stars embossing folder.   Come and have a look at the gorgeous star Christmas cards I've made in this colour combo of Blackberry Bliss and Perfect Plum. Closeup of the layered star.  I've basically made 2 identical cards just reversing the colours.  The cardstock is Perfect Plum, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White and Silver Glimmer.  Here's a picture of both cards again, side by side....simple, elegant and sparkly.  Have a great weekend.

Jolly Old Saint Nick

Hello Everyone, How's your day been?  I've had a busy day catching up on some domestic duties after today's Christmas card class and also running Mum's taxi service. I am working on a card for an upcoming Birthday this afternoon, but I can't share it as yet.  Today I'm sharing a card made a few days ago with the Vintage set called Jolly Old Saint Nick.  I've combined it with a greeting from the set called Christmas messages from last year's holiday catalogue. The cardstock used here is Pool Party, Real Red, Baked Brown sugar and Very Vanilla.  The patterned paper is from the Fresh Prints paper stack and contains these colours.   Santa and his sack have been coloured with Blendabilities. Thanks so much for calling in today to see my card.  Please drop me a comment if you like.  I hope you have having a lovely weekend.

Joy Star Card in Midnight Muse

Hello Everyone, Thank god its Friday!!  Don't you love when Friday comes around and you have the weekend to look forward to?  I have a Card Class tomorrow morning. I'm really giving my Star Framelits and Bright & Beautiful stamp set a good workout at the moment.  Here's another card I've creating combining the two.  It's similar to a previous one I did in Blackberry Bliss (what a wonderful colour), but this time I wanted to use up more of the retired Midnight Muse Cardstock I had. I've combined Midnight Muse with Soft Sky, Very Vanilla and Silver Glimmer card.  This is the new Silver Glimmer which I've found to be a darker silver than last years Glimmer card.  The word Joy comes from the Wonderous Wreath framelits. This card is going to be part of my Christmas card class tomorrow.  I hope the ladies like it. Have a fantastic day.

Coastal Cabana Santa Easel

Hello Everyone, I have another Christmas Easel card to share with you today.  This one is using some Vintage products, the stamp set Jolly Old Saint Nick and patterned paper from the Fresh Prints paper stack.  Come and have a look. This is the side on view of the card to show you how it sits.  The cardstock used is Coastal Cabana, Real Red and Whisper White.  Santa has been coloured in with Blendabilities. I've also layered up the greeting here with Speech Bubble framelit and Decorative Label punch.  Here is the full view of the card. Thanks so much for stopping by to see what I've made.  Have a great day.

Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch Challenge #114 - Seeing Stars

Image
Hello Everyone, It's Wednesday once again, so means its time for our Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch Challenge. Here is our sketch this week. I was seeing stars everywhere so I'm using the Star Collection framelits together with the Bright and Beautiful stamp set for my Christmas card in some non traditional colours.  I've also used the small Star punch on this card.  The Cardstock is Pacific Point, Very Vanilla and Midnight Muse combined with a little Silver glimmer paper.  The Merry Christmas greeting comes from the stamp set Teeny Tiny Sentiments and if you look closely you can see my Very Vanilla background has been embossed with the Lucky Stars embossing folder. So what are you going to make with this week's sketch.  We look forward to seeing your entry in our challenge.  Please make sure you pop over to the Paper Craft Crew and see what our other designers have created too. Thanks everyone.

Bright & Beautiful Star Easel Card

Image
Hello Everyone, Happy Tuesday to you all.  It's warmed up into another gorgeous day here on the Sunshine Coast after the rain we had overnight brought from a storm and they say to expect more this evening.  I don't mind showers overnight at all.  It really cooled things off nicely here after a very hot day yesterday. I've been playing with my cards here all day today because of an upcoming class and a number of special cards for Birthdays and events also required.  Today I've made a Christmas Easel Card in non traditional colours using the Bright and Beautiful stamp set and matching Star Framelits. What do you think of this? The colours are rich here stamped with inks of Blackberry Bliss and Perfect Plum and cardstock of Very Vanilla, Perfect Plum and Blackberry Bliss with a tiny bit of Silver glimmer paper.  Here is the side view of the card to show you how it sits.  The Star is actually a stand alone easel card which I've adhered to the base Pe...

Santa Stache Easel Cards

Image
Hello Everyone, I hope you've had a lovely day.  Its been a rather warm one here, but I always enjoy my Monday mornings at Badminton, no matter what the weather is like.  Its so much fun.  I came home and showered then finished off a couple of cards I started on the weekend using the Santa Stache stamp set. Come and have a look.  I'm using up some retired Season of Style patterned papers from last year but have combined it with cardstock of Mossy Meadow, Real Red and Whisper White.  The Santa image has been coloured with Blendabilities and I've cut them out with the Deco Label framelits.  Here's a closeup of the pic. I added a little Dazzling details to give a little silvery glittery sparkle to his mustache and hat here.  An extra mustache was stamped and cut out as well, raised on dimentionals. Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day.
