New Technique with Retiring Stamps
Hi Everyone,
I've been playing with a new technique (for me) the last few days and even had a friend join me for a play day. I pulled out a couple of the retiring stamp sets and inked them up again, before they're gone.
I've used the stamp set Upsy Daisy for this card. The image in the window is called the Window Sheet or Acetate Tissue technique and involves stamping with Stazon Ink your image on the front and using crystal effects with reinkers on the back, then covering with tissue paper on the back and allowing to dry. The drying time takes much longer than the actual creating of the work of art. Every image will be different and it's fun to experiment with different colours.
Here is another one using Nature's Nest set.
The colours didn't photograph so well in this one, but the base card is Island Indigo, next layer is Pool Party and the window layer with the framelit cut out is Whisper white, embossed with the Elegant Lines embossing folder.
Thanks for looking
