Annual Catalogue Launch

Hello Everyone,

I've had a very busy lead up to this year's launch, and feel like I could  sleep for a week now that we're done. Actually, I came home and had a little nanna nap truth be told, while my children fended for themselves.  They polished off a packet of Tim Tams while I was asleep.  

It was a very enjoyable day and great to catchup with the girls socially too.

These were some of the products appearing in the Holiday Mini catalogue together with some cards I've made with the Scentsational Seasons bundle.

These are a collection of cards I made with the Patio Party Designer Series papers and In Colours from the Annual Catalogue.



The next pictures featured Floral District and Comfort Cafe Designer series papers, In Colours and new Stamp Sets Layered Labels and Betsy's Blossoms and the last picture shows the In Colours, mainly Primrose Pink with the Fabulous You (shoe) stamp set and Kindness matters stamps set (3 butterflies) coloured with markers.

I have made so many cards in the last few weeks, I don't think I'll need to make any more for a month.  There are lots of ideas for classes amongst these already, and I think the girls were impressed with my display.

Finally, I had a little competition running to guess the total length of the ribbon in this jar

Can you guess?  There is actually over 33 metres of ribbons in here, 33.07 mtrs (metric) to be exact.  This was won by Marian who guessed the closest 33.45 mtrs.

There was plenty of opportunity to socialize, look in the new catty's, have a delicious morning tea and place orders.

    Wow that Marion is good! And what a fantastic display! I am sure they were impressed. I can't believe how many cards you have made. Incredible effort. No wonder you needed a sleep. Vx

    You should be renamed Carolyn Fantastic. How on earth did you manage to prepare so many samples/displays. I am having a group uplines and sidelines Catalogue Launch this Saturday and I haven't started on my allotment yet. I've been cyber hanging too much. Guess I'll have to burn the midnight oil between tomorrow and Saturday.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
