Petals and Paisley Class

Image
Hi Everyone, Just over a week ago now I held a class at home which featured the Paisley Bundle.  I posted one of them yesterday and here are the other two.  These were inspired by the Stampin' Up Class Project sheet. The cardstock is Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy,  Delightful Dijon and Very Vanilla on the first card and Whisper White on the Medallion card.  The first one is pictured below and it also incorporates the Paisley embossing folder. Blender pens were used to colour the images on the first card and on the square card, medallions of different sizes were stamped with inks Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum and Delightful Dijon and cut with the matching framelits.  The Petals & Paisleys dsp was used on the background. Here's a pic of the 3 cards together that were made at class. Thanks for taking the time to view my cards and read my blog.  I really appreciate your comments, so would love to hear f...

Petals and Paisleys Elegant Copper Card

Image
Hi everyone, A week ago I held my Petals and Paisleys class with the Paisley Product Bundle from the Holiday catalogue this was one of the cards the ladies made.  This one was voted the favourite of the day. The cardstock is Thick Whisper white for the base, Night of Navy, Tip Top Taupe and Copper Foil.  The Copper Embossed Navy sheet is from the Petals and Paisleys specialty paper pack.  I've kept this one simple and elegant.  The Copper foil really does add a touch of class to the card and I opted to keep all the die cut bits of the leaf together, held in place with a little tape on the back. Closeup below. Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I have more cards from this class to share another day. Enjoy your weekend.

Stamp, Ink, Paper #71 - Here for You Angled Easel Card

Image
Hello Everyone, Happy Tuesday to you all and welcome to our challenge this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  Today we have a colour challenge to use these colours below, or as similar as you have. The equivalent Stampin Up Colours are Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze and Delightful Dijon.    The card Paisley & Posies designer papers.  The stamps I've used are Papillon Potpourri for the butterflies and Friendly Wishes for the sentiment which I framed by using the Layering Oval framelits and Copper Foil sheet.  Here's a closeup. I always think these cards have that bit of Wow factor when standing up and the little butterflies add a pretty touch.  I stamped those with Cajun Craze ink. This is a picture of the card front when closed. This is a picture of the inside of the card.  They are really quite simple to make and I do enjoy an Easel card,  I haven't made one in a while. Thanks so much for stopping by.  Please do...

Stamp, Ink, Paper #70 - Tic Tac Toe with Pretty Paisleys

Image
Hello everyone, Welcome to another Tuesday and a new challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper.  We have a Tic Tac Toe board for you to play with. I've used the First horizontal row to make my card "Leaves, Green, Patterned Paper".  You can choose to do any row you like, even Halloween (but thats not my thing).  We don't celebrate that Holiday in a large way in Australia.  But that's the beauty of a Tic Tac Toe board.  You can chose what you wish to create. I'd been wanting to play with the Paisley Bundle that I recently bought and the Pretty Paisley embossing folder, purchased separately.  However, the papers that match that Stamp set didn't really  go with what I had in mind for a Green coloured card.  This is what I came up with using cardstock of Old Olive and Whisper White, inks of Old Olive and Garden Green.  Some Copper foil for some diecut leaves and Patterned paper from the Fruit Stand designer paper pack.   Here's a closeup. ...

Stamp, Ink, Paper #69 - Bloomin' Hearts anniversary card

Image
Hi Everyone, Welcome to this week's themed challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper .  We look forward to you joining us for this challenge. I'm sharing the card I made for my Wedding Anniversary which was last week.   I've used the Bloomin' Hearts thinlits on this card with some Copper foil in a style I admired in our challenge last week called a Split panel card shared by Natalie  .  I turned it around to be a landscape design here. Here I've used a Whisper White thick card base with Island Indigo and patterned paper from the Blooms and Bliss designer paper pack.  I've photographed the inside of the split panel card to show you I lined an extra Whisper White heart die on the inside. You need to make sure when you write inside a card like this that you avoid writing where the open panel is.  You don't want the inside to spoil the view from the front. Here's a closer look The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp s...

Santa's Sleigh Christmas Card Class

Image
Hi Everyone, I've had a busy week leading up to the biggest class I've hosted at home this year.  Christmas card classes are always popular and it was great to see all the ladies, and a few new faces among them. These are the cards we made for class and some extras that were used for display purposes. We used lots of products but mainly cardstock of Early Espresso, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and Real Red.  The pattered paper is from the Candy Cane Lane pack. This one took us the longest, having quite a few elements to it.  I used the Lucky Stars embossing folder on the background and the Bunch of Banners framelits with Banners for Christmas stamp set. Closeup And this card with the Reindeer was a favourite.  I've used the Woodland Embossing folder on the background. Here's another Deer card that we made, this one was cut out of Copper foil. Here's another closer look at one of the cards we made in class with the Sleigh. ...

Purple Blossom Card

Image
Hi Everyone, The cardmaking fun continued today, as I went to visit a crafty friend of mine Joanne, who also happens to be a Stampin Up Demonstrator and a member of my team. We had a great morning with some Show N Tell, catching up, discussing events and also doing a little crafting.  This is a card she showed me how to make.  I don't know what its called but the inner fold is very interesting, and also the making of this big Bloom made with punches was also new to me. The colours are Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla and Mossy Meadow.  Come and have a look. A number of different stamp sets and punches were used.  The main stamp set for stamping all the backgrounds was Timeless Textures.  I've used Rose Wonder for the leaves and on the inside of the card I've used a Birthday greeting from Rose Wonder, Flower from Blooms & Wishes and butterflies from Papillon Potpourri.  I give Joanne full credit for creating this card and then showin...
