Stamp Ink Paper #143 - Basket of Flowers for Mother's Day

Image
Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper Here's my card, very simply made featuring flowers from the Sweet Soiree embellishment kit.  I didn't have a basket so I improvised with our Coffee Cafe stamp set using the base of a stamped coffee cup.  These have been added to a Stitched Shape square which was placed on my background which was embossed with the Garden Trellis embossing folder. The cardstock I've used is Soft Sky, Sweet Sugarplum and Whisper White. I've used Early Espresso ink for both the Coffee cup base and the Mother's Day greeting. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp Ink Paper.   Looking forward to seeing your creation in our gallery. Have a great day. Carolyn

Happy Birthday Karree

Image
Hi Everyone, My eldest daughter Karree turned 19 last week.   I had to make her a special card seeing she loved the Eyeshadow Palette card I made her sister.  She's also a makeup loving girl. Here's what I came up with. This Eyeshadow Palette card is based on the new Jeffrey Star Blood Sugar Palette which we have on order for her from the US.  I know she's very excited to receive it and she loved this card and took a snapchat video of it to show her friends. I made it in a Wallet Style Tri fold card with  Real Red cardstock as the base, lined with Calypso Coral on the inside and Silver Foil for the Happy birthday diecut and internal mirror and a variety of other cardstock in different colours and textures including painting some with Wink of Stella to give a shimmer effect.  I also punched Stars out in the same colour to stick on each eyeshadow pan to mimic the real life palette. Here's a closeup of the pans This is the real li...

Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's Stamp Ink Paper challenge.  Its Sketch time and here is our sketch below. As you can see I've used the Petal Palette stamp set and coloured the flowers with the Stampin' Blends pens.  The cardstock I've used is Bermuda Bay, Basic Black and Whisper White. The paper used on the background is from the Petal Passion paper pack and I've used Washi tape to create a border down the left side of the card.  I little butterfly finishes it off. Thank you for joining us this week at Stamp Ink Paper .  We can't wait to see what you create with this week's sketch and you could be joining us as a Guest designer just for playing along.  Have a great day. Stamp Ink Paper #140 - Four Legged Friends challenge with This Little Piggy

Image
Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's Stamp Ink Paper challenge.  Our theme is Four Legged Friends Here's my card that I've created with This Little Piggy stamp set.  The base of the card is Crumb Cake and the patterned paper on top is from the Wood Textures designer paper stack.  I've coloured my image with Stampin' Blends. I needed another birthday card for a boy and for this challenge I don't actually own a stamp set with a Dog or cat which would have been the obvious choices.  Hence the pig as after all, we live in the Country. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp Ink Paper .  Hope you will play along with us and we look forward to seeing your creation in the gallery. Carolyn xx
