Stamp Ink Paper #188 - Designer's choice featuring Winter Woods Stamp set

Image
Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper.   This week we have a Designer's Choice challenge for you, where you can use any of your favourite products in your design. I have chosen to create with a Stamp Set called Winter Woods to which I used the Reflection technique.  Here's my card. The cardstock used is Pacific Point, Sahara Sand and Whisper White for the inked layer.  I've also added some Metallic Washi tape from my stash to the borders of the front Panel. The Happy Birthday greeting comes from an older stamp set called Rose Wonder and has been cut out with the Stitched Shapes framelits. I find it handy when I have all the inks & stamps ready to make 2 card fronts when I'm making a card with a particular technique like this and I'll make a 2nd card to keep in my stash.  Here's a pic of both cards I created with the Reflection technique. Here's the second card I made Thanks so ...

90th Birthday card

Image
Hi everyone, I've taken this opportunity to play with some new items I recently purchased and use them on a commissioned card I was asked to make for a dear lady.   The cardstock is Petal Pink, Very Vanilla and Copper foil.  The new dies I've used here come from the Rose Trellis pack.  I've also used the Large Number dies for the "90". There's a 3d Lily that I had fussy cut already and had in my stash which I added to this card which adds a little elegance over the Trellis work on the background.  I've used a little bit of the Copper thread under the number panel to finish off this card. Here's a closer look.  I've been told the recipient loved it.  Thanks so much for stopping by today to see what I created.  Have a great day.

Mum's Birthday Card

Image
Hi everyone, I'm back today with a quick post to share the Birthday card I made for Mum.  Her birthday was Australia day January 26th which is also a public holiday here in Australia, and it was also a long weekend, which is nice.  It usually marks the end of the Summer holidays and back to school the next working day. I've used up some pretty patterned paper from the Garden Impressions paper stack and combined with cardstock of Pacific Point, Very Vanilla and Silver glimmer paper.  I used the Happy Birthday thinlits and used my new Duo Butterfly punch to punch out some little butterflies from our Sale-a-bration dsp.  I added some lace to the card tied in a bow to finish it off. Here's a closeup Thanks so much for stopping by today.  See you next time.
