Image
Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's Shaker challenge at Stamp Ink Paper Here's my card combining some old and some new items.  The patterned papers are from the Garden Impressions 6" x 6" paper stack.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Night of Navy and the greeting is from the retired Rose Wonder stamp set. The butterfly has been cut using the retired Butterfly thinlit dies.  Its still one of my favourites. Shaker cards are such fun for the recipient.  I hope you like mine. Here's a closer look at that butterfly. Can't wait to see what you create for our Shaker card challenge. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp Ink Paper .  Have a great day.

Stamp Ink Paper #155 - Lift me Up Birthday

Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's Stamp Ink Paper challenge.  We hope you will join in with our Summer theme this week.  There is an added incentive to join in this week with a Giveaway to one of our US participants.  Please check back with the Challenge site for all the details. Here's my card using the Lift me up Stamp set and matching framelits.  The colours I've used remind me of Summer.  Yellow & blue remind me of the Sun and the Sky, so I used the colours of Summer for my inspiration.  Here is a closer look.  We have some hot air balloons in both the foreground and background of the card.  I stamped some directly onto the Cloudy paper from the Serene Scenery dsp which has been retired but came in a 6 x 6 paper stack. Don't forget about our Giveaway for this challenge eligible for US participants only.  You have to enter into our challenge to be chosen.  Details on our Stamp Ink Paper challenge this ...

Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper .  We have a Tic Tac Toe board for you to play along with this time.  I've made another 18th Birthday card for another friend of my daughter. I've used the last horizontal row for my card "Wood, Flowers, Glitter" and here's what I created for another 18th Birthday for one of my daughter's friends.  The cardstock is Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Highland Heather and Silver Glimmer.  I've also used some "Wood" patterned paper on the background. The stamp set is from our last Sale-a-bration called Heartfelt Blooms and has very detailed images with beautiful shading that look fantastic when stamped in one colour.  I stamped them in Memento black ink. Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Can't wait to see what you create with our Tic Tac Toe board this week at Stamp Ink Paper .   Have a great day.

Happy 18th Birthday Jade

Hi everyone, A lot of my daughters friends are having Birthdays around this time of year and I created this particular card for a young lady turning 18. Its an Easel card with the bottom panel designed to look like eye shadows which went with the gift that she gave her. I've used the Happy Birthday thinlits and Lots of Labels framelits on this easel card. The cardstock I've used is Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Whisper White & Rich Razzleberry as well as a bunch of other colours punched out with my square punch for the eye shadow pans. Here's a side view of the card. Thanks so much for stopping by today.  There will be more of these special cards coming up in the coming weeks.  Have a great day.

Stamp Ink Paper #152 - Makeup card with the challenge colours

Hi Everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper I've used cardstock of Whisper White & Basic black plus a few new colours and a returning colour for my card.  They are Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green & Coastal Cabana.  As well as cardstock I also used a little Washi tape from my stash and a greeting from the Perennial Birthday stamp set. I thought this card would be perfect for a Teenage girl with the Eyeshadow Quad and Nail polishes and I found my inspiration for this card on Pinterest.  We have several birthdays coming up so this one will be needed soon. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Stamp Ink Paper  for this weeks challenge.  All the design team cards are so different and we hope they give you lots of inspiration.  The team can't wait to see what you create with our challenge colours.  Have a great day.

Stamp Ink Paper #151 - 18th Birthday Easel Card for ABC's & 123's challenge

Hi everyone, Welcome to this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper I needed an 18th Birthday card, so thats how this came about for the challenge.  In fact I will need a couple of them for my daughters friends over the next several weeks, so this challenge was a great motivator for me. The cardstock I've used is Basic Black, Real Red and Whisper White which I've combined with a preprinted Concept Card kit from Kanban.  We used to sell this type of product when I worked in a Craft store and I've had a bunch of them in my stash for years. The Large Number dies were used to cut out the 18 and the Celebrate You thinlits for the greeting on the base panel of the Easel card.  This White panel was embossed with the sequin embossing folder and the whole section raised on 3D foam strips to create an anchor for the easel. I've taken side view photographs of each side to show how the card sits. Thanks so much for joining us this wee...
