JAI # 141 Colour Challenge

Hi Everyone,

It's time for a colour challenge at Just Add Ink.  Here are the colours

I love this combination of colours and could think of lots of ways to use them.  In the end though, I decided on a pretty vintage card using the Apothecary Art stamp set, Labels Framelits and Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder for this recessed window card.  I brayered inside the embossing folder with wisteria wonder ink before I put the panel through the Bigshot.  This adds more depth.  On the stamped image I firstly coloured some of the flowers with white gel pen to show up on the crumb cake and when dry, coloured over the white with Wisteria Wonder marker.  I've added tiny pearls to the centre.  I have 2 greetings on the card, the Happiest Birthday on the outer and Wonderful You on the inside from the Loving Thoughts set.

Here's my card

and photos of the detail closeup and the inside

Thanks for looking.  I hope you enjoy this week's entry to the JAI challenge.  Don't forget to leave me a comment if you like what you see.

  2. Beautiful card, Carolyn. Such a lot to like, the cut out front, the raised flowers, very sweet.

  6. Carolyn, this is GORGEOUS!! I love the depth of colour achieved by brayering the same colour of ink, as the card, on your embossing folder - brilliant. All of the little flowers are divine, and there are so many lovely details to look at on this card. Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink :)
