"Love" a Wedding Card

Hello Everyone,

How has your weekend been?  It's Sunday arvo and I've just finished a card that will be for my niece.  Shes having a beach wedding so I've made this card with the theme in mind, simple beachy colours, similar to the Wedding Invite.  This closeup shows the focal point.


I've used Expression Thinlits here with Gold Foil for "Love" and the Heart Collection framelits, plus By the Tide stamp set for the shell on the front here.

Here is the card.


Yes, rather straight forward.  Cardstock is Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.  The Crumb Cake layer has been embossed with the Fancy Fan Embossing folder.  I've cut 2 sizes of hearts with the hearts collection framelits and made a Heart Window with the whisper white card on the front,  I've added this to the inside here.


The sentiment stamped on the heart inside the card is from a vintage set called Wordplay.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
