Affectionately Yours Butterfly Birthday

Hi Everyone,


This was a card I made combining Watercolour Wings with the Affectionately Yours designer paper and the Butterfly thinlits.





This was a very simple card, but I do love simplicity at times and I love how this turned out.
The greeting comes from the Butterfly Basics stamp set.

Cardstock is Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White and Gold foil.

Music Teacher Farewell // Paper Players #173 Shaped Card Challenge

Hello Everyone, It's a sad week for my daughter and her friends who have really enjoyed what the music program offered them at the High School this year.  Their very talented teacher will be moving on to a new school and they're having a little party for their last day of the Vocal ensemble practice which was an extra activity that he undertook with the students, as well as teaching them to play all sorts of instruments in lesson times. His speciality though, Guitar!  I have decided to enter this card into the Paper Players Shaped Card Challenge this week.  While not specifically made for the challenge, I think it's a pretty cool shape and fits the criteria.  I also think more people deserve to see this card. When asked to make a card for the group to give him, with that in mind I found some inspiration on Pinterest and came up with this card. Create with Connie and Mary 274 and JAI 188 2nd Entry

Hello Everyone, There is another Colour Challenge this week over at Create with Connie and Mary I love the colour combo and have decided to make a DL sized card (long and skinny).  I'm calling this card a Hex Grunge Butterfly card.  Stamp sets used are Gorgeous Grunge, Six Sided Sampler and Papillon Potpourri stamp set and co-ordinating punches. Grunge is not normally my style, but I recently had the stamp set out for another challenge over at JAI.  Love the pretty Soft Sky colour over the Very Vanilla card.  I've also decided to enter this card into the Grunge Challenge this week at Just Add Ink as a 2nd entry.   Have a closer look. JAI 135 Colour Challenge

Hi Everyone, I've decided to enter this weeks Just Add Ink challenge which is a colour challenge to use Pink Pirouette, Real Red, Whisper White and Old Olive.  http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com.au/ Here is my card. I've used the sets Fabulous Florets and Apothecary Art for the greeting plus a little butterfly from the Kindness Matters set.  You may also spot a few new products two including the Large Doily die and the Fancy Fan embossing folder used on the white.  That is a little bit hard to see.  The leaves are stamped onto one of the new Framelits dies too.
