Revisiting PCCSC#39 for another Card (Warning: Not all SU)

Hi Everyone,

It's a lovely warm day here today.  Makes for perfect weekend weather.  Washing is drying well on the line out in the Sunshine and we've had a friend here for lunch today.  Sat outside on the Patio getting some fresh air and rays.

You might remember a little over a week ago, we did the Paper Craft Crew Challenge with Sketch #39 for a Mother's day theme.  Well I said I would be using the sketch again.  I've recently been going through my ever growing stash of products, some from before my SU only days and I wanted to use this Pyramid stacker sheet, which I had planned to be for a class in one of the stores I taught at, but it never happened.  I finally cut it up and made a card, combining with some SU products namely card, Hodgepodge Hardward, retired certainly celery grosgrain ribbon, greeting stamp Well Scripted and our new butterfly from Papillon Potpourri stamp set with Bity butterfly punch.

I'm bringing together a bit of old and new there, but sometimes that is the best thing to do.  If you want to keep up with all the new things going on in SU for your business, you must find a way to use up or incorporate the old stuff.  You may call it Spring cleaning in your neck of the woods, but here in Australia, its Autumn, so I can't use that excuse.  I suppose I'll say I'm just using some of my stash before new catty Pre-order starts here!!

Thanks for stopping by.  See you again soon and have a lovely weekend.

  1. This is nice Carolyn, I agree we need to declutter all that 'old stuff' to make room for new Stampin Up stuff LOL

    1. Thanks Michelle, I still have lots of those sheets. I may include in my Card Buffet.

  2. Oh boy I need help using up the "old" stuff! Some may even call it hoarding - It's amazing how far a 12 x 12 paper pad will go. But the new stuff is always so pretty. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing all your collection.

  3. Thanks Vicki, yes my husband thinks I'm a "hoarder". I have way too much stuff going back years and years that I collected in the store I used to work in, a lot put aside thinking I would get back to my scrapbooking. Unfortunately, I haven't scrapped in years.
