Open Sea Birthday

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm sharing a card which uses some of the Paper Stack from the last catalogue called Adventure bound.


Doesn't the ocean on this background look fantastic.  The stamped images on the Deco Label die cut have been stamped with the Open Sea Stamp set, for the world map and the ship.  An extra ship was stamped onto another piece of Whisper White card and was fussy cut.  It's raised on foam over the original image.   The cardstock used here is Sahara Sand, Whisper White and Island Indigo.  Ink is Crumb Cake and Island Indigo.



The birthday greeting used comes from the Stamp set Itty Bitty Banners and the panel it sits on was embossed with the woodgrain embossing folder.  The button detail added comes from the Artisan Embellishment kit. and I added some Island Indigo bakers twine which was knotted.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
