By the Tide Card

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I was missing again yesterday.  Friday night is basketball and my daughter had a game with her school versing another at Buderim so it was quite a trek down to play and back home again.  They didn't win this one but they did play well as a team of only 5 with no subs.  The girls were tired after playing all day on Thursday at a netball carnival.  They should be fit.

Today my eldest daughter and I headed in early to the local church fete for some goodies (pic below) and the rest of the day has been relaxing after a hectic week.  I did manage to finish this card that I'm showing you today featuring the stamp set By the Tide.  Come and have a closeup look.



The cardstock used is Delighful Dijon, Very Vanilla and Sahara Sand.  The patterned paper is from the Mosaic pack and the inks are Island Indigo, Delighful Dijon and Tip Top Taupe.

The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and is one of my most versatile sets for greetings.  I can't recommend it enough.

Don't you just love a good pumpkin scone.  Those ladies sure know how to cook, and the Patty Cakes were delightful too, really delicious.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
