Beth's Birthday Card

Hi Everyone,

I'm a little behind with my posts.  I'm sharing a card today that was made a few weeks ago for a friend of my daughter.  Yes, another 15 year old.  Many of her friends will be turning 15 this year, so I suspect I will get some use out of the Large number dies.  I made a card with this same layout 2 weeks ago using the Paper Craft Crew card sketch.

Here's today's card which uses up some retired papers and purple card, for a Purple girl.




The cardstock I've used is Perfect Plum, Basic Black, Whisper White and Wisteria Wonder.




The greeting is from the vintage set Label Love which has been punched with the Artisan Label punch.  The numbers were cut with the new Large Number dies and mounted on a Whisper White oval cut with the Oval collection framelits.

I also used my Scallop border punch to add the finishing trim to the diagonal edge of patterned paper.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
