JAI148 - Just Add Christmas
Hi Everyone,
The challenge at Just Add Ink this time is "Just Add Christmas"
I've made this Twisted Easel with the Ornament Keepsakes bundle and a battery operated tealight.
See the difference in the first photo with the tealight candle on. After seeing several other projects on our Stampin Up demo gallery Stampin Connection I had been on the lookout for these little tealights. They really give the card that Wow factor. Here is a photo from the back so you can see that it just sits behind the vellum window. They were a little expensive to buy individually but my dear husband has since sourced them online for me and I'll be set for next years Christmas classes.
This was just the project and the challenge I needed to go ahead and use it. My cardstock is Riding Hood Red, Pool Party and Very Vanilla with some Champagne Glimmer. I've also used vellum, Festival of Prints Paper Stack, Festive piercing pack and Ornament Keepsake Bundle. The greeting is from the stamp set Greetings of the Season from the Holiday Mini. I swear this is my final Christmas card of the year.
Thanks so much for stopping to look and please leave me a comment if you like what you've seen.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Merry Christmas and happy new year

ReplyDeleteI bought one from our local Newsagency Vicki- Cost $2.20. I'll have to check with Neil for you where he's ordered the bulk pack from.
DeleteThis really is a WOW card Carolyn! Great idea to use the tealight behind the vellum to give this wonderful effect for your card (I didn't even know there were tealights out there like that!).
