Just Add Ink #150
Hello Everyone,
I've had a chance for a quick play for the sketch challenge this week at Just Add Ink.
Here is the sketch
I've decided I wanted to try out the Blackboard Technique and feature new products from the Seasonal Catalogue. Also I have a team member turning 40, so I've combined everything for this Easel card and taken some creative license which is loosely based on the sketch above. Here is my card.
New products used include More Amore Designer Series Paper, Hearts a Flutter Bundle, Designer Builder Brads, Flower Trim and Bottle Top (squashed a little through the Big Shot. The Stamps used are Vintage Verses, Itty Bitties and Memorable Moments. I've also used Tulip Border and Lacy Brocade Embossing Folders.
Here is a closer look at the banners across the top of the card and also the Bottle Top (I just can't get used to the Soda Pop name). I'm really happy with my card, just need to work on my photography skills, LOL.
Thanks for popping in to see my card. I hope you'll leave me a comment.

I have been toying with this technique too. Yours is really lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Tricia. When I make the class card with the technique it will be a little simpler than this one.
DeleteThis is absolutely beautiful Carolyn - I love the colours of your easel card combined with the blackboard technique (haven't tried this technique yet - might have to give it a go!). Your team member is going to love it! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week!
