School 2013
Hi Everyone,
So today, instead of participating in any card challenges I've been helping my youngest daughter Anna who wanted to get started on covering her school books. This is what we've been up to today, using some of my craft supplies.
Using a lot of my markers (most of them are retired colours) she's coloured all the stamped images. Makes her books much more unique than the patterned plastic slip covers or Contact Adhesive that most cover their books in. She'll put the clear plastic covers on top to protect them but there will be no mistaking Anna's books in class.

These look terrific. Great colouring. Vx
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna had fun colouring these. Some of these stamps are hers and I usually only have to do the faces/flesh for her, then she does the rest.
Deletep.s. So glad I am past the book covering though. LOL! One thing I definitely don't miss. Vx
ReplyDeleteThese are great. Might suggest this for Miss 8 - she got some new stamps from Santa and she wants to stamp and colour everything. Thanks for sharing - you have such great ideas. I generally pass the book covering to my hubby!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could pass it on. I hate contact, can't ever get it wrinkle free, so I much prefer the brown paper that we can decorate, then cover with the clear slips from Officeworks. They are much easier.
