Fabulous Florets Make a Wish card

Hello Everyone,

Its been a lazy Saturday here today.  Listened to some music, made some cards, caught up with some friends.  Exactly how I like to spend a weekend seeing as I didn't have a class on or any special plans, other than pick up my daughter from a sleepover this afternoon.  For once I actually could sleep in without having to worry about getting out the door or being on time for something.  Good feeling.

This is one of the cards I've finished today using the Fabulous Florets stamp set, Sweet Essentials greeting and Beautiful Baroque embossing folder.  Have a closer look.



I've done a similar thing as I did with yesterdays card and water coloured the flower with Primrose Petals and Summer starfruits ink.  The stem and leaves are stamped with Old Olive and the little butterfly with Summer Starfruit.  The shape is cut with the Window Framelits and this piece is actually the cutout from yesterday's card which has been mounted on the cardfront with foam dots.  The background was embossed with Beautiful Barouque embossing folder and all layered onto a Whisper White cardbase.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
