Stamp Ink Paper #21 - Rich Razzleberry Wonderland Card

Hi Everyone,

Happy Tuesday and what a wonderful day it has been for me.  Today was our Melbourne Cup, the biggest horse racing event on our Calendar of the year, and called the Race that stops a nation.  Everyone has heard of the Melbourne cup in Australia and most people would watch this race.  In fact in Melbourne they actually have a holiday for it.  For me, its a chance to frock up and go out to a function.  This year our venue was the local RSL club which was great in our heat, because it was air conditioned and they have a big screen tv for viewing.  We watched a fashion parade, and had a wonderful lunch before the race.

On to the reason for this post which is this week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper.  Here are the details.

I have already made dozens of Christmas cards and am busily making more.  This was an easy challenge for me.  Sometimes the simpler cards turn out to be the most elegant.  Here's mine below using the Wonderland Stamp set which I've combined with the Sleigh Ride edgelits.  I love how this turned out.

The cardstock is Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White and Basic Black.  The only ink used was Rich Razzleberry with the tree image stamped twice but not inked up the second time.  The Edgelits were cut twice, once in Whisper White and again in Basic Black to create a shadow when adhered together and ever so slightly offset then that panel was raised on dimentionals on the lower edge of the card.

Here's a closer look.

Rhinestones and a Wonderland embellishment complete the card.   Please visit our Stamp Ink Paper site and see what our other designers have made for you this week.  They are so talented there is sure to be further inspiration for you there.  Can't wait to see what you create for this week's challenge.

One quick pic of me all dolled up for the Melbourne cup function.  You don't often see me this glam., lol.

Have a great day.
