Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch Challenge #195 - Fall Flowers Cards


Hello Everyone,


Welcome to the Wednesday Card Sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here is this week's sketch.




I have a craft fair this weekend and decided this would be an ideal opportunity to make a few cards with older stock to sell and in turn then have some additional funds to put towards my own upcoming new catalogue purchases.

Here they are using cardstock of Soft Sky and Sahara sand for both cards and a small piece of Whisper White stamped with one of the images from Six Sided Sampler stamp set and punched with soon to be retired Hexagon punch.  The paper is from a very old Designer pack called Fall Flowers and I've added a Dragon fly to the design, stamped with the set called Awesomely Artistic.  Greetings are from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  Below is the first one.




Sahara Sand lace and basic rhinestones were added to the card and I've used the Scallop border punch on the Sahara sand panel on the bottom edge.  Here's a closer look.




and I made a second similar one while I was a it.  I went with the square base in Sahara sand this time and used lace on the bottom edge.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off. JAI176 - Just Add Blokes & CCMC 2nd Entry

Hi Everyone, I thought this weeks Just Add Ink challenge - "Just Add Blokes" was a great opportunity to get in and make a Male card .  For those of you outside Australia, "Blokes" is another name for Men. Today I'm using Mosaic Madness bundle set teamed with a greeting from Loving Thoughts stamp set.  I don't understand why, but the simplest cards seem to take me the longest.  I agonise over them, and yet I can make something much more involved quicker, when I have a clear vision in mind. I've taken the colours for this card from the colour challenge this week for Create with Connie and Mary so this card is doing double duty for both challenges. Here we are The cardstock is Berrmuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White and Smoky Slate per the colour challenge.  Here is a closer look at the Mosaics.  The Bermunda bay one is raised on dimentionals.
