A Tulip Garden with Backyard Basics


Hi Everyone,

How are you this Saturday?  Do u have plans for the weekend?  I've had a wonderful Saturday morning at the Fusion Festival held locally today.  Lots of live music performances from talented High School students and the High School Concert band that my daughter is in.  Plus heaps of stalls for food & drinks and all sorts of goodies for sale for Mother's Day.  We had a great time catching up with friends too.

Today's card combines Backyard Basics stamp set with the Wood Panel background stamp.  Check out the cute birdy I have sitting on the fence.



All the images have been stamped with Stazon Black ink and coloured with Blender Pens and markers.

The cardstock used here is Raspberry Ripple, Very Vanilla and Baked Brown Sugar.  Thanks so much for calling in today.  Have a lovely weekend.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
