Ship in a Bottle on the shelf

Hello Everyone,

Its Monday.  Some people don't like Mondays but I always love the start to my week.  Its my Badminton morning which is always a lot of fun.  Some exercise and social time is a great way to start off my Monday.

Onto today's card.  I felt I was due for a Male card this time.  I've combined The Open Sea, Perfectly Preserved and Wood Panel for my card here to create a Ship in a bottle sitting up on the shelf.  Its been done before.  I did make this style of card last year, however this time I'm using the Wood Panel background stamp on Baked Brown Sugar card and I'ved added the Paper doily to the shelf, combined with the Birthday Wishes greeting from the Simply Sketched Hostess stamp set.  Have a closer look.

I am happy with how this turned out.  The cardstock used was Basic Black, Whisper White, Pacific Point and Baked Brown Sugar.  The Greeting was stamped with Black Stazon ink and cut with the Banner Framelits.  Here is the full view of the card.

I was in such a great mood this morning I decided I would bake the girls a cake, then I had the chore of cleaning the kitchen.  Photos to follow.

Looks like coffee and cake are on the menu for dessert tonight.  See how my coffee machine is gleaming there.  I'm so proud of my efforts today.  Now if I could just train the girls to keep the kitchen in this state we would be one happy family.

Thanks so much for calling in today.  See you tomorrow.
