Make a Wish with Washi Tape

Image
Hello Everyone, I'm back again with another card using some retiring bits.  I have the Rev up the Fun Stamp set and Washi tape on this card, combined with a Sentiment from Perfect Pennants.  Here is a closer look at the card. I've also stamped with Gorgeous Grunge stamps onto the background.  The cardstock is Very Vanilla and Smoky Slate. I've used the Label framelits for cutting our and layering the sentiment here and I've also cut out and raised the car from Rev up the Fun stamp set on Foam dots. Its another male birthday coming up in the family and I love how this card turned out.  I hope you like it too.  Have a great day.

A Happy Birthday Vintage style

Image
Hello Everyone, How has your weekend been?  Its been a pretty cold one here, especially today.  It got quite windy outside.  I've lived in a jumper all day.  Perfect weather to be indoors cardmaking.  That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Here is today's card using a base of Crumb Cake and using some retiring patterned paper from the Soho Subway pack. The cardstock is Crumb Cake, Soft Sky and Crisp Cantaloupe.  I've rounded the corners on the bottom edge of the card as you will see in the pic below and I've embossed the Crisp Cantaloupe layer with the Mosaic embossing folder. The sentiment was stamped with the Vintage set called Well Scripted and cut out with the Deco Label Framelits and it was finished with a little butterfly cut from the Beautiful Wings die. Thanks so much for calling in to see today's card.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Patchwork Heart Card

Image
Hello Everyone, A short post today because I'm running late, sorry.  Today's card is a little different.  Its a heart shaped card and I'm using some of the Afternoon Picnic patchwork patterned paper on it.  Come and have a look. I've used the Hearts collection framelits to cut this card out from Coastal Cabana and Very Vanilla cardstock and I've used a greeting from a retired set on the front of this card "Love you Much" from the set Well Scripted.   Next I want to show you the inside of this card. The sentiment on the inside is from the stamp set Loving Thoughts.  Makes this a perfect card for an engagement, Wedding or particularly an Anniversary.  I have some friends in mind for this one. And finally, the full view of the finished card.  Please excuse my hand, its the only way I could photograph this well enough was to hold it up. Have a great weekend.

Work of Art Thank You

Image
Hello Everyone, I wanted to thank you for popping in each day to see what I've been making, so today's card is actually a Thank you card using the Work of Art stamp set.  I have my new product launch tomorrow and I've been busy making samples to showcase the new products and colours that I have.  This is another one using predominantly Tangello Twist. But I've also used inks of Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow which are all new In Colours. The cardstock is Tangello Twist and Very Vanilla and some Papillon Potpourri butterflies were added.  It's a fun card. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Warmest Wishes Paint Chip Card

Image
Hello Everyone, Its been an extremely busy week for me with all the travel due to my daughter's Work experience at Myer.  Can't wait to slow down a little this weekend.  And it will only be a little because I have a class and new catalogue launch on Saturday morning which I'm also trying to prep for right now. I want to show a quick card I've made in the meantime with the Blooming with Kindness stamp set and another paint chip.  Love the paint chips, instant colour teamed with Black and White for a super quick card. Have a closer look here. The stamping is all done in Stazon Black ink and the reversed scallop border is an offcut from using the Adorning Accent edgelits, which is pretty cool that you can use what is considered waste in this way. Thanks so much for calling in to see today's card.  Have a great day.

Another Works of Art card in Blackberry Bliss

Hello People, How is your weekend going?  It's Sunday night here and I am a little late finishing my post.  I was a little late finishing my card.  Thats why.  I was actually making 2 at once because I have a busy day tomorrow with my eldest daughter starting work experience a good 40 minutes away from us.  I will have several long trips a day to take her down and back to work this week. Rev up the fun Moonlight Gatefold Card

Image
Hello Everyone, I wanted to make another of those Gatefold cards, that I should you the other day, but this time I'm working with a square base and some patterned paper from the Moonlight designer paper stack.  I've decided to stamp with the retiring set Rev up the fun and make a motorbike card, something suitable for a male.  I'm using the Deco Label Framelits to frame my stamped image.  Come and have a look. The cardstock used is Smoky Slate, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Whisper White.  I've embossed the Hello Honey Label with the Fancy Fan embossing folder and I've stamped the background of the white label with a stamp from Works of Art set.  The measurement for this card is 28 cm x 14 cm.  Each side is scored at 7cm from either end and folded in to the centre. I've also finished off the card with some Candy dots from the neutrals pack.  They look a little more masculine from this pack and these are the Smoky Slate co...

Hi Everyone, I received a nice surprise in the mail today - Happy Tuesday.  Something good always seems to happen on a Tuesday without fail.  Not to mention its also the morning I go for a walk with my friend Sharon which leads us to a different coffee shop each week to finish our walk with coffee and a sweet treat.  My 5 year pin arrived in the mail, just before we went for our walk.  I've added a photo to the bottom on this post for you to see.  I also made a card to celebrate.  I think I will send this one to the Stampin Up office to say thanks.
