Betsy's Blossoms Paint Chip card


Hello Everyone,

Happy Sunday, I hope its been a wonderful weekend so far.  It's a long weekend for us here with another day off tomorrow, nice.

Today's card features another paint chip.  There was a boo boo made at class with the stamping of the Medallion from the Happy Day stamp set on this background, so I worked out a way of covering it with Betsy's blossoms for some leaves and the birdy from the set.  I've also added some Mini Petals with the Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch, a few little butterflies from the Beautiful Wings die and a greeting from the Sweet Essential set.  Come and have a look at the detail.



I've used the Adorning Accents Edgelits on some Basic Black card to create the decorative borders on a base card of Naturals White and I've used inks of Black Stazon, Bermuda Bay and Perfect Plum.  A picture of the full card is below.



I think this was a pretty good save, cause I could have just thrown out this paint chip.  Have a lovely rest of your weekend.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
