Patchwork Heart Card


Hello Everyone,

A short post today because I'm running late, sorry.  Today's card is a little different.  Its a heart shaped card and I'm using some of the Afternoon Picnic patchwork patterned paper on it.  Come and have a look.



I've used the Hearts collection framelits to cut this card out from Coastal Cabana and Very Vanilla cardstock and I've used a greeting from a retired set on the front of this card "Love you Much" from the set Well Scripted.   Next I want to show you the inside of this card.



The sentiment on the inside is from the stamp set Loving Thoughts.  Makes this a perfect card for an engagement, Wedding or particularly an Anniversary.  I have some friends in mind for this one.

And finally, the full view of the finished card.  Please excuse my hand, its the only way I could photograph this well enough was to hold it up.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
