CCMC225 - Create with Connie and Mary

Hi Everyone,

Here is this weeks sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary

2012 Create Thursday-005

I wanted to use  Patio Party Dsp for my card because the small patterns on this particular paper of the banners and butterflies go with my little stamped image of Butterflies from the Kindness matters set.  I coloured the rubber with my markers before stamping and I cut them out with the Apothecary Accent framelit shape and double mat it.  My Cardstock is Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit and Whisper White with some Primrose Pink ribbon.

I hope you like my entry for this weeks challenge.  Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment.  I love to read them.

  1. I really like the use of the butterfly images here. Great colors! Love the use of the framelit to showcase the butterflies. Thanks for playing the Create with Connie & Mary challenge this week!

  2. So cool how you layered your tag with just rectangular pieces like that and love the butterflies that match the colors of the DSP! So glad you joined us at Create with Connie & Mary this week!

  3. Oh my goodness - how cute is that! I love how this turned out with that paper in the background. I keep trying to come with ideas for that stamp set and somehow I struggle with it and end up not using it. But I love this card! I'm so glad you joined us this week at Create with Connie & Mary!

  4. Thanks Lisa, Debbie and Monika for your lovely comments.

  5. Beautiful! I love the way you layered your tag! The colors are so pretty together and the ribbon and rhinestones finish it all off perfectly! Thanks for playing the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!

  6. Lovely Carolyn! Some of my favorite DSP paired with a great stamp set! Thanks for playing with us at Create with Connie and Mary!

  7. So pretty using the banners with the butterflies! That stamp is perfect! Thanks for playing along with the sketch challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary!

  8. I love how you paired up the banners with the fun and a great way to celebrate! Thanks for playing along in the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!
