Another Card using Baby Wipe Inkpad
Hello everyone,
How is your Sunday going? We've just had a feast from the Bakery where my daughter works for arvo tea.
I have another card to show here following on from yesterday. When I start playing with a technique, I like to have several samples made to show at my classes. It opens up everyone's mind to the unlimited possibilities and sparks more ideas.
Here is another card made recently, again with the butterflies..........................
On this card I've combined Daydream Medallions stamp with Papillon Potpourri (butterfly) in the centre and the Happy Birthday greeting from the set Perfectly Penned. I love this multicoloured effect.
On this card the base is Marina Mist, with Whisper White, Primrose Petals and Rich Razzleberry which incidentally were the same colours on the baby wipe.
To achieve this multicoloured inkpad effect, you place drops of reinkers onto a folded baby wipe which you've placed onto an incream container lid or something similar to contain the ink, that you can stamp into. You want to have definate areas of colour, without too much mixing of colours between each change. If they all mix together then you won't get this varrigated effect.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you enjoy your day.
