Fabulous Florets
Hello Everyone,
Just for a complete change from Christmas cards, here is a floral card I made last night using Fabulous Florets stamp set. I was cleaning up a few bits on my desk for this one and actually included it in a parcel I posted today to a fellow demonstrator.
The cardstock is Wisteria Wonder for the base, then a layer of Basic Black, Whisper White and finally Bermuda Bay which is also embossed with the Fancy Fan Embossing folder and the centre cut out with the Label framelits. The stamping is actually on the Whisper White layer underneath this cutout, so it apears in the window. I topped it off with a Butterfly from Papillon Potpourri stamp set and a single stamp retired greeting from the previous Mini catalogue.
It was a fairly quick card, requiring not a lot of thought. A good thing for a Sunday evening actually after a big day. The Blossom was stamped in Wisteria Wonder and fussy cut and adhered over the leaves which were stamped in Lucky Limeade (retired).
I can see now that my label wasn't straight, now that the card is assembled, but I'll add that I'm not perfect, missed that at the time.
I'll see you again tomorrow. Hope you have a fantastic week.
