Little Black Dress and So Grateful
Hello Everyone,
Inspiration comes in many forms, sometimes from friends, sometimes by ones surroundings but today I've made a card today inspired by my recent shopping with the girls. Retail Therapy LOL!
This is a cute one featuring a Little Black dress I made to go with my shoes. My facebook friends would certainly understand this already, but photos are below.
The background features the Tie dyed technique which I've shown in the past. Thanks to Bec Ross, one of our Paper Angels team members in Brisbane who shared this with me. The Black dress is made using the Dress Up framelits and I've added some of the Silver Ribbon from the Holiday catalogue as a band. The greeting is one from the Chalk Talk bundle. Cardstock here is Basic Black, Melon Mambo and Whisper White. Here is a closeup of the dress.
While I was making this card I decided to make another, just because I could, especially for all of you out there who follow and support me. Isn't it nice to make a card just because you want to. I'm so grateful to you all. You are the reason I create.
It uses the same type of background as my card above with the Tie Dyed technique. The cardstock used is Pool Party, Basic Black and Whisper white. This next photo is a picture of the background before I made up the card. The background stamp is called Positively Chevron which you stamp with versamark ink before adding embossing powders of Pool Party, Melon Mambo and my Frosty Glitter mix which is a combination of Heat and Stick powder with Dazzling diamonds.
And finally, a closeup of the tag using the Chalk Talk bundle.
Thanks very much. Have a fantastic day.
Carolyn

No outfit would be complete without the perfect pair of shoes, right? Well here they are.
