Butterfly Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone,

Its another Monday and another Butterfly card today, LOL.

I love my Monday mornings especially, maybe not so today though.  I play Badminton on Monday mornings, but today my partner actually managed to hit my fingers this morning with his racquet when I was playing a shot.  They are sore and swollen and I'm just lucky its my left hand and that I'd removed my rings yesterday for the cleaning/painting job, else I would not be able to get it off over my knuckle.

Onto today's card.  I am on a mission to be using retiring products with our new catalogue launch coming soon.  The patterned paper used here is from the pack called Afternoon picnic and I've used both butterfly dies, Beautiful Butterflies and Beautiful wings for this layered look finished with one of the Vintage buttons.  The greeting comes from the stamp set Petite Pairs.




The cardstock used is Coastal Cabana, Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant.  I've used the Scallop border punch on the Eggplant card and the Oval punches for the greeting.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
