Fabulous You Easel Card


Hello Everyone,

Today I finally finished a card that I'd had half done sitting on my desk for a few weeks now.  It uses a set called Fabulous You that I received as a Birthday gift last year from my (Dear, Kind and Wonderful) Friend Marian.

The main image of the Stamp set is a shoe, which I've stamped onto Elegant Eggplant cardstock with Whisper White Craft Ink and I've sprinked my Frosty Glitter mix on of Dazzling Diamonds and Heat and Stick Powder 50/50, and heat set.  I've cut the piece out with my Top Notes Die and also created an Easel card with the die using a base card of Wisteria Wonder.  I've lined the base with Very Vanilla and I've used some Silver Glimmer paper cut with one of the Apothecary Accent Framelits for a mat.  I've added a double layered butterfly to the base and added the Happy Birthday greeting to the top using Itty Bitty Banners set.

    I bet that shoe is extra sparkly IRL! Like the top note shape you have used with this easel card. This is a great birthday card. Vx

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
