Fab Friday 16

Hello Everyone,

There is a cool colour challenge at Fab Friday featuring these colours below:-

I think Crumb cake would have to be my favourite of the Neutrals for using as a base, so I'm quite pleased to participate in this particular challenge.  There are some amazing examples by the Design Team too.  Lots of inspiration, so pop on over and check them out.

This is my card for the challenge.



I've used stamp sets My Friend and Papillon Potpourri with matching Elegant Butterfly Punch, Top Notes die, Bitty Banners Framelits and Fancy Fan Embossingt Folder.  I'm not known for doing CAS cards but this is my attempt at one.  It's so hard to hold myself back and not keep adding, lol!  I also find it interesting that a simple card takes my twice as long, deciding where to place the elements than something much more involved.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Music Teacher Farewell // Paper Players #173 Shaped Card Challenge

Hello Everyone, It's a sad week for my daughter and her friends who have really enjoyed what the music program offered them at the High School this year.  Their very talented teacher will be moving on to a new school and they're having a little party for their last day of the Vocal ensemble practice which was an extra activity that he undertook with the students, as well as teaching them to play all sorts of instruments in lesson times. His speciality though, Guitar!  I have decided to enter this card into the Paper Players Shaped Card Challenge this week.  While not specifically made for the challenge, I think it's a pretty cool shape and fits the criteria.  I also think more people deserve to see this card. When asked to make a card for the group to give him, with that in mind I found some inspiration on Pinterest and came up with this card. JAI176 - Just Add Blokes & CCMC 2nd Entry

Hi Everyone, I thought this weeks Just Add Ink challenge - "Just Add Blokes" was a great opportunity to get in and make a Male card .  For those of you outside Australia, "Blokes" is another name for Men. Today I'm using Mosaic Madness bundle set teamed with a greeting from Loving Thoughts stamp set.  I don't understand why, but the simplest cards seem to take me the longest.  I agonise over them, and yet I can make something much more involved quicker, when I have a clear vision in mind. I've taken the colours for this card from the colour challenge this week for Create with Connie and Mary so this card is doing double duty for both challenges. Here we are The cardstock is Berrmuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White and Smoky Slate per the colour challenge.  Here is a closer look at the Mosaics.  The Bermunda bay one is raised on dimentionals.
