The Paper Players Challenge - PP151

Hello Everyone,

There is a sketch challenge over at the Paper Players which I really loved the look of and I've been dying to play with, finally.  I've been a little snowed under this week and think I will just get my submission in by the deadline.  Here is my take on the sketch below.

How shimmery does my background look?  This was achieved by brayering over the Naturals Composition dsp with Frost White Shimmer paint.  It's one of those products on the retiring list.  After brayering I wiped it back a little with a damp cloth.  The paint does dry quickly because this paper.  I've stamped with my favourite butterfly stamp set Papillon Potpourri and the greeting is from the set Blooming with Kindness.

The multicoloured effect of the butterflies and greeting are from stamping into a Baby wipe which has been inked with several different reinkers and used like a stamp pad.  I have a picture below.  My cardstock is Wisteria Wonder and Very Vanilla.  Here is a better look at the butterflies, which I've punched and layered onto more Wisteria Wonder card.  I've embellished the centres with pearls.

This is the sketch below
Finally, here is a picture of the Baby Wipe that I stamped into.

Thanks so much for stopping by to view my card this week.  I hope this is a technique you will also try soon as its really easy and you can achieve such a pretty effect.

Don't forget to leave me some blogging love.
