Just For You Bohemian Butterfly Card


Hello Everyone,

How's your Saturday going?  Its been another freezing cold day here on the coast with temps well below our average for this time of year.  They even had snow out west, which was pretty amazing and dreadfully cold I'm told, but also good to experience for the young ones.  Its a pretty rare sight in those parts of Queensland.

Today I'm back with a Butterfly card and the jewel shades of the Bohemian Designer series papers and matching card.  The Cardstock I've used is Bermuda Bay, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Island Indigo and Blackberry Bliss.   Here's a closeup.




I've used both framelits of Butterfly thinlits and Bold Butterfly to cut a layer my butterfly and Rhinestones down the body.  The Banner punch was used on the Patterned paper and Blackberry bliss mat and the Spring Flowers embossing folder was used on the Basic Black background.  I've used the Teeny Tiny sentiments for the greeting.  Here's the full pic of the card.




I hope you enjoyed seeing this one and if your in our neck of the woods maybe its warmed you up thinking of Spring and warmer weather.  I was actually playing and singing along to Thirsty Merc's Summertime in the hopes of some warmer weather.  Lol.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
