Paper Craft Crew Challenge #38 & The Paper Players 141 Colour challenge

Hello Everyone,

Happy Wednesday everyone.  Today here on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia it's quite 'hot and muggy' at the moment.  We're expecting more storms later today and rain for later in the week.  Today I'm doing 2 for one, ie 2 Challenge sites with one card I've created as my Design Team sample and also to play along in The Paper Players Colour challenge.

This is The Paper Craft Crew sketch below.

I've pulled out my Apothecary Art stamp set for this card and combined it with Papillon Potpourri set with the co-ordinating Butterfly punches.  The other accents have been made with the Delicate Doilies die and Hearts a Flutter Framelits.

I've coloured my Apothecary image with Markers and Blender pens over Whisper White Card stamped with Stazon Black Ink.

I'm combining my card with the Colour Challenge this week at The Paper Players using the colour combination below.

Thanks for taking the time to view my card.  I hope you will join us at the Paper Craft Crew with our sketch challenge this week and will pop over and see the other cards from the talented Design Team.  I look forward to seeing what you create this week.

Thanks for your comments.  I appreciate the time taken to leave them and love reading them.
Hope you have a fantastic day.

  1. The apothecary stamp is PERFECT for these colors! Lovely coloring job and great take on the sketch. I like how you used just a portion of the embossing folder on the circle...thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  2. So pretty, Carolyn. I love the two background elements behind your focal point. They add a little pop of color and interest. I agree with Nance, this was the perfect set to use!
Enjoy your rains... I know how refreshing they can be at your gorgeous corner of the world.
So glad you joined the Paper Players this week
