Blended Bloom Birthday

Hello Everyone,

Its Sunday arvo here and we're coming to the end of the weekend.  All the rain disappeared today after what has been an extremely wet 24hours prior, so I didn't get as much play time as I would have liked.  I did, however catch up on some washing and was able to have it dry out in the sunshine.  It was a lovely sunny day.  Onto my card for today.

The stamp used on this card is new and is called Blended Bloom which I've coloured with the Cherry Cobbler & Daffodil Delight sets of blendabilities.  Have a look at this beautiful bloom.



I've used cardstock of Basic Black and Whisper White on my card plus some patterned paper from the Back to Black designer pack.  I've used the new Lovely Lace embossing folder on the Whisper White background and a paper doily under the bloom.  Here's the full card.



I'm very happy with this card.  The blossom is so striking against the Black and White.  Its a favourite colour combination.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
