Happy Father's Day DAD

Hello Everyone,

I've just made my first Father's Day card of the year using some wonderful new products.  Its also been a break from bees, to make a Father's Day card for a change.

I'm really happy with this one.  Stamps are Snapshot and Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The Patterned paper is from the new pack called Back to Black.  Come and have a look.




I've stamped the Camera onto Basic Black card with Whisper White craft ink, allowed it to dry then cut it out.  I've also done something else a little cool here.  I punched out the centre of the camera lense with the 3/4 inch circle punch and layered acetate and a smoky slat stamped image, punched with circles and then reassembled them.  Its hard to show it up in photography but I think it looks great.

The cardstock used is Basic Black, Whisper White, Pacific Point and Smoky Slate.  Here is the full card below.


The Pacific Point bottom border has been embossed with the Argyle embossing folder and I've used the new Alphabet Framelits for DAD cut out of Basic Black card.

    Oh No. I haven't even thought about Father's Day yet! I better get my thinking cap on! This is such a great card using the camera and I love the idea for the lens!

Hello Everyone, Welcome to our Wednesday card sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.  Here's our sketch this week    I'm using some designer papers called Merry Moments combined with Festival of Trees stamp and greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  The cardstock used is Whisper White and Smoky Slate with inks of Old Olive and Real Red.  The greeting comes from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and has been punched out with the Washi Tape punch. Here's a closer look.  I love how the Designer papers add so much colour this this card.  The Festival of trees stamp has been combined with the Tree punch for this card. Light up your Christmas

Hi Everyone, You all know how I love my Easel Cards right?  Well I've added a little light to them in the form of the little battery operated candles.  Neil bought me some boxes of them online.  I've been playing around with a couple of different designs which are for an upcoming class of very Special Christmas cards with my group but thought you might like to see them.  This is the first one I've done using the retired stamp set Christmas Lodge.  It's a gorgeous set with this beautiful tree and really suits a vintage style Christmas Card.  I've also used the Deco Label Framelits which are fast becoming a favourite and the Beautifully Baroque and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders. The Cardstock is Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have the light on so you can see the gorgeous effect from the little candle.  Here is a photo when it's off.
