World of Dreams

Hello Everyone,

Its windy and cool here for a Saturday with a few scattered showers, but no one's gonna rain on my parade...lol.  Its my birthday and we just had a lovely morning tea here with my class.  I also received some very beautiful birthday cards and gifts which I'll share another day.

For now I have made a card with the stamp set World of Dreams.  Its a very simply design.

The main image chosen for this card of the birds and next was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White card and the sentiment was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.  The Base card is Early Espresso with a Crumb Cake background which I've embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder and I've added three strips behind the image which also bring in the Blackberry Bliss colour used for the mat and also Early Espresso.  Heres the complete picture below.

I only just received this stamp set this week and its sure to become a favourite.  I already have another card in mind for its next use.

Before I go I wanted to share with you the little cakes my daughter made for us today - in lieu of a big Birthday Cake.  They are Lemon Meringue Cupcakes...Yum.

We are off again to the final performance of the Musical Calamity Jane that the girls are in this evening.   Hope you have a great weekend.

  1. Gorgeous card. Taking a look at this set.
Friday I went to our school musical (the girls and boys school combine to do the production). My son designed the back cover of the programme.
Your girls are great cooks. Happy Birthday again :)

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
