Hexagon Hive Bee Card

Hello Everyone,

I am so glad I haven't parted with my Backyard Basics bundle yet.  I have been asked to make some Bee cards for a local store who are stocking my cards.  Apparently Bees are in and I didn't have much else in the way of bees excedpt for a tiny little one in Collage Curios.  Backyard Basics bee is going to come in very handy, if these bee Cards are popular.  Here is the first one I've made.

I've combined my bee with the Hexagon Hive framelits for the cool Hex background effect, cut out of Basic Gray card and layered over some Daffodil delight card with a Naturals white base.  The Patterned paper here used is from the pack Eastern Elegance and the greeting comes from the Perfect Pennants set.  Here is the full view of the card.

I've used some Kindy Glitz on the wings of my bee.  It's photographed a little bit pink.  Trust me, they aren't pink in real life.  As of the morning the card is actually stocked in the store.  I delivered my first batch of cards for all occasions this morning.

  1. Nice card.
If you have Sale-a-bration Sweet summer from a few years ago there is a small bee in that set too.
